Negative zero star if i could. I have to say this. Host was ok welcoming, but then everything went down the drain, when bussboy ( tossed our chips basket n salsa at our table and ran off… chips went flying .. And no words just a quick toss. We were not feeling it after that, but just to satisfy our stomach because we were soo hungry because of our long distance drive.. we gave it a try. Server was just plain n simple. No recommendations or anything. Did not bring utensils until we asked and we had all the food on the table. We call her to ask for utensil and she asked how many? … I think she was expecting us to eat with our fingers. For the Ice tea, and lemonade no refills nothing tea had a dirty water taste. So, We ordered the carne asada plate and chiken fajitas. Plain and simple like the server. Honestly, The carne asada had like and old piece of meat taste, sour, and it had a weird odor.. i felt like puking…for the chicken fajitas I had to add a lot of salt for taste. The rice was out of a package…thats forsure because of the taste, rice a roni has a better taste. The beans, my god! Where do they get their cooks or their products. those beans are worse than expired fried can beans. Of course we mention it to server, they dont cook it, but how dare you question my taste buds.. when mexican food does not taste like that. If I wanted a cheaper version i would of gone to taco bell. Rodrigos Mexican grill should be embarrassed adding “mexican” to their name. Where is Gordon Ramsey when you need him. ? Manager took off one little item of check.. what a shame. I still left a 5 buck tip. I didnt know what to feel after that, my anxiety kicked in and wanted to get the hell out of there. I had to use the restroom right after and there was no toiler paper.. wtheck… the whole management for this place is horrible. My stomach went sour as a arrive home but thats a situation for a different time, but that food contributed to that. Worse place I have ever eaten , and will never go back again or recommend it. They need to step it up or better said, they need to close down…
Love this place, very friendly and family oriented. Don't let the name Rodrigo's change your mind from visiting, thinking its another new restaurant, it's formally known as Don Jose's. if I am not mistaken its the same owners, same great taste and atmosphere.for years we made it a tradition to go after every Graduation. My recommendation is the Chimichangas and Enchiladas.FIVE STARS
Had our wedding reception here on December 28, 2021. We had trouble finding a place for a group of 30 or less. The food great, the staff was amazing. The prices were reasonable. Was an excellent choice for our celebration.
Good vibes here that go perfect with the food.
Yummy to my tummy ?????. Stopped for lunch and one had the burrito (chile Colorado baby). The other party had the Rodrigo's flautas. Both dishes rocked it out. Salsa was mild for my liking even when I asked for fuego. I know, but I really enjoy spicy ???? fuego salsa. Good vibes here that go perfect with the food.
This is a place I genuinely love. The salsa is top notch, and the food is always good, genuine, and fun to eat.You also aren't going to spend a fortune, including for items from the bar. One of my favorite places to eat, which unfortunately I moved too far away from a few years ago. It was awesome to get a reason to be close around dinner time recently.
I am giving a 2 Star rating at this time. I am a customer at this restaurant for many years! Back when it was Don Diego's.Food was always great until covid hit. My girl and I are so upset that they have jacked their prices up and have not changed the prices they have had for years on the menu on line. Went from about 27.00 for the 3 items dinner for 2 to 40 now. Managed basically said to bad but prices went up with no regaurd to prices still being out od date on on line menu! They lost 2 great customers and anyone we talk to to. No wonder there is hardly any wait to eat there now. They are losing customers because they don't care. Bad mistake Rodrigos!!!
Waiter was very nice. However it took a very long time to get our food. It was only so so. We have gone to the Corona Rodrigo’s. The difference is like nite and day. Corona is very quick getting food out and tasted much better.
This was our first visit for four of us (out of seven). All of us loved our meals, me especially. I had the Pasilla Stuffed Relleno and it was one of the best rellenos I've ever had! Mrs. M had the tamale and she really liked it, too. We both had the Rigo's margarita and they were quite good. Service from Isidro was excellent and the atmosphere was fun. Can't wait to come back!
