The for was very good I love coming to norms they need one In Moreno Valley cause Dennys getting alittle over used ?? but this place always has amazing food
2nd time eating there and this time we ate there with our 2 sons. Me and my hubby dined at this resto along with our mom’s BFF and my Bestie. Love the ambiance and our waiter was great and still great this morning. Service was quick and foodie was okay tho. During the bill payment we mentioned to the person on the register regarding the AARP discount and or military discount. That’s when OMG the person could have been a whole lot nicer it’s not that we’re trying to be ghetto and have our almost $60 breakfast be discounted free, it stated on the menu the 20% off AARP meal discount and granted one of the person qualifies for it. We were asking about the military discount and right away the person on the register was on the offensive and starting to raised the voice. My husband was just asking how much is the military discount and right away the person on the register said you cannot have 2 discounts. The person then said are you all in the military. We’re card holders and dependents. However, I was like Dad never mind just pay the bill and let’s go we do not have to go back to the place anymore. We won’t, our boys never been to Norm’s we wanted to try it. Before the incident I was like telling them the ambiance is better than Denny’s. LOL! Anyways, if only the person can be a little bit nicer and not be like we’re ghetto and trying to get freebies. All my husband wanted to know is how much discount he gets for the MIL so he can determine whether or not to use his AARP or the MIL discount. To the person, hello we just got done attending our early worship service and we went directly to the restaurant to eat breakfast with our boys. SMH!
We had an early 8 am breakfast at the NORMS in Riverside. We were greeted and seated quickly and then served by Melissa. The service was very good and the food was hot and filling. They have a newer menu with some changes and updated prices, still a very good value. Of note is the early bird discount for 55+ seniors. The restaurant is well located close to highway 91, easy off and back on.
Everything we order was delicious, the amount of money matches the amount of the food you get on your plate, the place was very clear, the waitress very attentive. We had a wonderful experience I definitely recommend (if there's a line is worth the wait).
Friendly greeting, very busy at 10pm , seating took 10min from 15min estimate wait. Raquel our server was friendly and efficient. Doing rounds drinks were filled and checked on. In attempts to be friendly guests are called honey. Is there another word that can be used? Its a sweet term but sounds forced/fake. Otherwise food was good had fish n onion rings were perfectly crunchy and friends had fries with their fish.
I ordered online through the Norm's website. They had a special deal for free delivery. I placed my order and received confirmation that my order was received. I received text messages that said Uber Eats was delivering my order. I received a text that said my order was picked up and would arrive in approximately 20 minutes. Then I receive another text and also an email that my delivery order was canceled and to call Norms. I called Norms and they said they had no orders for my name. I told them my card was charged already. The person who answered left me on hold while she tried to figure this out. Eventually she said that we can come in and pick up our order. However I was already charged and could not fix the tip I had left for the delivery driver. I was not going to leave a tip because I had to drive myself to pick it up. Norms need to seriously consider looking at their delivery system so this doesn't happen again. I WILL NOT be ordering from Norms for a while.
Great service and very fast. I got breakfast (for dinner) and my bf had a super whammy chicken sandwich. Their prices are great and the food (in my opinion) is much better quality than Denny's. Although, we went the night before and the bf had a steak. Not recommended ?
I want to start off by saying I love NORMS and come here often however today I was very disappointed.. first off they took forever to take our order.. second the waiter kept calling me mama and babe.. so unprofessional.. brought me a coffee 45 min later.. no utensils to mix it.. and the worst of it was when I got finally got my food there was a hair in it!!!! ?? very unsatisfactory and disgusting.. never again!!
Horrible got tired of waiting for them to take my order. Most of time lately I order Norms to go but today my son wanted to eat there. I usually spend about $20-$40. So today I came in, was seated but no one bother to come to get our order even after we reach out to the hostess. They were busy cleaning tables, trying to sit more people in instead of actually taking the people’s order smh.. this got me really upset so I just decided to leave and go to Denny’s where we got seated quick and got our order.
Really nice restaurant. I had a breakfast with eggs, sirloin steak, pancakes, and hashbrowns. Everything was cooked perfect. My only complaint is that the place is very busy and you will be waiting a while to get seated. Otherwise it's a very good place.
