Went to go see my friends band who was on tour and this place didn’t pay the band because there was no one working at the door to charge cover. I don’t think there is enough space available on this form to dive into the ethical dilemmas present in this situation, but this venue exhibited incredibly poor behavior. Covid tore down the live music scene we all loved, but now we have a chance to rebuild it the way we want to see it and we can have voice by consciously choosing where and how we spend our dollars. I would encourage everyone to consider ANY other local venue because this one is seems to be rather predatory by luring touring bands to unknowingly come play for free so they can make money on the people they draw in. They’re just driving down the value of live music.
I Was there yesterday 3/5/2022I don’t drink alcohol ?And I went to wait in the long lineto buy a bottle of waterI got there and the bartenderSay we don’t have water and I say we’ll give me some from the top waterAnd she say sorryWe don’t have water at allI want to say this to the owner and to management I know you make money in the drinks but remember not everyone can drink alcohol. I’m disabled personyou guysDiscriminate me and Denim me waterI went to see the tribute to caifanes and the place sucks not recommend it at allbad customer serviceAnd bathrooms so nasty need to have someone to clean the bathroomsWas so dirty and smells nastyFor sure never go back there bad experience
Cool venue for music but please clean up your women's restroom occasionally.

From Open mic nights on Wednesdays, karaoke on Sunday and really cool stuff in between. MTL is an excellent choice while visiting downtown Riverside. you might catch a punk rock show, you might catch a hip hop show but no matter what there's always something going on between Wednesdays and Sundays at MTL.
The MTL is an awesome music venue in Downtown Riverside. I enjoyed The Emo Night Tour '21 and the live performance by The Seafloor Cinema!!!!! Great music, great dancing and a great time. Thanks so much!!!!!
