We have eaten at Johnny's for 30 plus years. Went yesterday, after a few year break. Truly disappointed. There at 1130, no outdoor sitting available, no indoor sitting available. Had a big order with 6 adults and 2 children. 2 of the sandwiches weren't what we ordered, didn't take back because it took over 20 minutes just to get the food to start with, missing 2 orders of fries. To say the least the steak sandwiches, which have always been the best, were disappointing. Meat was very thin, overcooked, honestly the lettuce and tomatoes filled the bun. More like a vegetable sandwich. Then charged me extra for ranch dressing. Will seriously have to consider going back again
Great spot. Friendly staff. Alyssa really helped me out with my order. Suggested a delicious meal thank you. Hope they reopen dining area again.
This place has been here decades. Even with In-N-Out, McDonalds and Farmer Boys moving in accross the street, this place stays busy all day. Food and service is great. Definitely worth trying if you have not been.
Johnnys burgers is my favorite place. The value is insane. The burgers are HUGE, and high quality. You get a massive bag of fries too. But most of all the staff is so kind and hard working. Everyone HUSTLES in that tiny kitchen to pump the food out. The girls that bring your food out are so kind and polite. Its the best burger spot hands down no competition!
The small but unique unique restaurant had very fast service even though there was a long line the food was quality and I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner or dinner located on Madison and Indiana Avenue is in Indiana Avenue in riverside
Showed up here at lunch time 12:00This place was packed ( take out and drive thru ). And that’s with a in-n-out across one side of the street and a farmer boys on the other. Got the bacon ? avocado ? cheeseburger ? combo with onion rings the Burger was really good just kind of small and a little dry ( definitely needed a double ) the avocado on it tasted good and the bacon was thick and crispy The onion rings were bad at best They did give a lot of them but they weren’t good And even though the line was long they got the food out in about 15 minutes#johnnybegood
Johnny's is AWESOME! They always have a line of cars in the drive thru always has a long line of cars to enjoy the different menu selections but the line doesn't take that long, the employees move the line pretty quickly. My go to is the cheeseburger combo with grilled onions & extra pickles. It I've also had their grilled chicken breast combo, the pastrami sandwich & the Steak sandwich combo. There is usually enough pastrami stuffed into the grinder sandwich roll to make a second one & keep it for yourself. I also love it when I get the fries because they are always cooked fresh & then when the fries are cooked just slightly longer & they are crispy. They accept cash or card for payment. They usually will have dine in or out but currently with Covid they are currently to go orders only. Johnny's is a pretty great fast food place with a pretty large menu Sometimes I'll get pretty crazy and live on the wild side & add bacon to my burger. However keep in mind that adding bacon is an extra charge $. This review is for the Madison/Indiana location. If you haven't been here go & try it!
Food is good. They do not always get my order correct. This time I got my food and some extras. Didn't notice until I got home.
Amazing burgers fries zucchini and everything. I'm not sure how farmer boys across the street stays open lol.Staff is very friendly and very busy to get everyone's good out as fast and delicious as possible.Craving a charbroil burger? Look no further.
I got the fish dinner, the Staff was polite and food was hot when I got it home. The fish was crunchy still and fries were good. Only disappointment was the ranch dressing was under seasoned tasting like sour cream. Good value for under $9
