I followed this business on Facebook, loved the comments people had posted, really loved that it was a family run establishment. I went there to eat one day, coming home from work. Got 2 "Medium burgers" the taste was old fashioned..had such a wonderful flavor, freshly cooked. The prices I find to be amazing, seeing other well known chains charing almost double what this place does.. that alone has kept me going back atleast once a week.

Wow, George’s Drive-In is fantastic! Great service, and a much more varied menu then we expected from a smaller business. The portions are ENORMOUS and very reasonably priced. We ordered gyros (again, wow!) that were packed with meat and tomatoes and had just the perfect crispness on the wrap to contrast with the delicious tzatziki. We had no room left for the HUGE order of fried zucchini, but we took that home to our kids with burgers. My husband ordered two baklava, thinking they would be the typical size, but they are huge, too! Those we also saved for dessert later because we were full! Everything was delicious, we are adding George’s Drive-In to our hidden gem list in Riverside. It’s been here since the 70’s, and there is a reason that they have a loyal following!

Food is over priced!! And the wait takes to long to get your food the workers work with no urgency and take their time. Thry forgot my fries and I didn't realize it until I got home, so I called and they acted like it was no big deal, I had to drive all the way back to get them. The parking lot is full of transits and at night is a lil scary. The food quality is not so great for the price you pay

So disappointing! We hadn't eaten here in years but had memories of it being really good. Which is why we decided to stop here. That was a mistake. The quality and flavor were seriously lacking. It was nothing Iike we remembered. How unforunate. Maybe it was just a bad day for them. We just won't be in a hurry to try again.

George's Drive-in is one of the last original Drive-ins left... It is the place to come to if you're in the area near the Tyler Mall. Great selection on hot or cold items. Their pastrami is great! Their Onion rings are to die for!!! Their burgers are big. The food is made when you order, prices are reasonable. When you're food is ready, you're called on the speaker, so you know it's done, so you get your food hot. Can't wait for their 50th anniversary in 2024.

February 3, 2022 5 PMI would first like to mention that guy have been patronizing Georges restaurant for about 40 years and I remember in the old days the food was so goodWow! what a disappointment it is now.I was begrudgingly asked to place my order by an older woman who seem to hate lifeI ordered a steak sandwich combination with onion rings and a Coke, $16.52I was asked if I wanted everything on itI replied what does it come with?Hi was answered with a sigh then told what the ingredients were.I asked that pickles not be put on the sandwich as I am allergic to them and instead asked for onions to be added.Again with the sigh of impatience and agony,Then ask do I really want onions on it, which I replied yes please. The order was rang up and my credit card was given.I was never told what the price was and never offered a receipt.I waited almost 15 minutes for my food to be cooked and number to be calledThe older woman called out every number with extreme and patients as if every single customer should be standing at the window waiting for their order.I was waiting at the window because of this and steel my number was called twice even though I was standing at the window ha ha.When I received my food at the window I asked if I could have a receipt with my order,The lady aggressively ripped the receipt from the order check and gave it to me and then just walked away.Well I have to tell you the onion rings seem to be premade and frozen damaged hot but lifeless with no flavor and way too much breading not even any salt on them to enhance something of the flavor, they were so bad that after I took down four of them I had to just throw them away they didn’t even seem to be deep-fried they seem to be oven baked or something worst onion rings I’ve ever tasted in my life.Well the steak sandwich was not much better way too much bread to meat ratio and what was supposed to be a hot steak sandwich was called the steak was The thickness of a thin piece of leather and had the flavor and texture to match and that’s giving more credit than what was due because most of the meat was gristle and fat had to throw away more than half the sandwich.Sadly I will never go there again and would have to say to anyone that wants a meal that resembles any kind of real food you had better go someplace elseThe owner and her female companion don’t seem to have any interest in what they’re doingI think it’s time for them to sell the business and give it to someone else that would put a little love into what they doWell if you decide to go there anyway good luck.

Good food across the menu. My Son recently moved to Florida he told me he would miss 2 things me and George's his favorite order pastrami on rye Chile cheese fries. I'm all over the menu with no disappointment. Grate place

Not sure where to start. This is not the place it use to be . I had a Pastrami sandwich and was beyond disappointed. Pastrami was dried out and my bread was hard. Also ordered taquitos and that was a disaster in a box. Waste of time on the wait and money

best food amazing service worth the hour drive ♥️

The old fashioned shakes are fantastic. All you need it a small one to remind you of the old time soda fountain shakes of 50 years ago! Brings back memories of good times. The other menu items are just as great and probably a bit more healthy! ?.
