Don't let the looks deceive you, this is hands down, one of THE BEST mexican restaurants I have ever been to! We've been going for years and take all our out-of-town guests, and they fall in love too! Originally a tortilleria, the story is they began to offer lunch to the local workers and word spread. Eventually the demand for their food overtook the requests for tortillas and they became a full restaurant. When you step into the restaurant, you are greeted as soon as you walk in the door. Even when understaffed, they make a point of good service. They offer a varied selection of legit, mexican fare with a huge variety of options. Their tacos are amazing, with fresh, handmade tortillas and many choices of meats. My favorite are the especially their chicharon, and carnitas, and they will make them "ranchero style" upon request, adding beans and nopales to the taco, DELISH! I am also a huge fan of their huaraches and sopes, and am never left hungry. Make sure to bring cash to tip your servers, they are a hardworking staff!
This is one of those hidden gems... Real authentic Mexican food... delicious. The chilaquiles and huevos rancheros are delicious!! The prices are beyond reasonable. Highly recommended and guarantee you will love it.
My 'chicken' burrito consisted mostly of rice, with a tablespoon of chicken and six pinto beans. 'Scam' hardly begins to describe it. Never again. Does anyone else question these high star ratings ?

Omg, this is really homemade authentic Mexican food, salsa, pozole , enchiladas Verdes, just beans, first time and definitely coming back... and prices are good comparing with other places!!!!
