This place has really good dough and sauce which makes for a really good pizza. I grew up in an Sicilian household and this place is a 5 Star pizza place. It is a tad bit greasy but hey what Italian pizza isn't.Their sauce is nice and thick and flavorful.If they screw up your order it will cause chaos with the employees but the Owner will step right in and make things right.I recommend everybody to try this place just once.
This place deserves six stars. I came here for lunch two days in a row because I had a job close by. The first day I had ordered a medium pizza and somehow my order got messed up and it took longer than expected. I don’t blame them because they seemed very busy during the time I was there. I noticed it was all women working there and they were HUSTLING. Since my order took a while they ended up giving me another small pizza for free. Then the next day I came back, they remembered me and told me that they won’t take my money for yesterday’s inconvenience. I tried to pay them but they insisted until I eventually gave up. So not only was the service great (which seems family-based), but the pizza was some of the best I’ve ever had. Easily top 3 best.
Tried DeMatteo's for the first time tonight. Delicious pizza. The crust was perfect.
The food deserves 5 stars, but I had to deduct 1 star for the disorganization that has resulted in our order sitting in a bag, getting cold & soggy on several occasions. This is our favorite pizza place. We travel from Colton to pick up up our order. We generally arrive before our order is ready to be picked up. We don't mind waiting. What is disappointing is that despite us checking in with the staff, waiting inside the restaurant, in clear vision of the staff, we are not notified that our order is ready. After waiting patiently, smiling at the staff, we finally go check on our order, only to find out it was ready a while ago, but they forgot to rip the ticket to signal to the staff that it was ready. This is not the first time this has happened. It's happened prior to Covid, during Covid, and again this evening. If the food wasn't amazing, we wouldn't come back. But, it is disappointing that we only receive a shrug and half hearted apology when we are given cold, soggy pizza & wings instead of the fresh, hot, out of the oven pizza we paid for.

Placed an order yesterday for pickup today for a Christmas lunch. Today we get a rude call from a Christie yelling at us saying we didn't give her plenty of time the food's not ready,we need to order something else. First they don't have the food ready they messed up then she calls and is rude and yelling at us no cancel order never going there again, Lost an entire company's business
Very unorganized. My carryout pizza was sitting in a delivery bag.i finally had to go ask about it after 45 minutes. No communication from staff. First and last time in. Won't be back.??
Was in Riverside this past weekend visiting,was craving a good pizza. Went online read the reviews... No joke it was a GREAT PIZZA,ordered a large sausage,fresh tomato,and mushroom. Ingredients were all fresh and flavorful. The dough and crust was delicious. Spoke to a friend who lives in Riverside he tells me he has been going their for years,and everything they offer is delicious and they are consistent. Thank you DeMatteos Team see you again soon.
We drive across town to pick up pizza here because it is delicious. Tonight was incredibly busy but I was impressed with the good attitudes of all of the staff. They were working so hard to get everything done and keep people happy. Pizza was yummy as usual.
