D'elia's has always been a favorite best Grinders around!
love the grinders here.... best bread ever please increase the lettuce... the last few times lettuce has been bare minimum... and there is no reason when it is soooo cheap. thanks again for a fantastic lunch ?
great staff and excellent customer service. grinders great as always. keep up the awesome work. Thank you
Just wanted to share some concerns. The staff were not very organized nor welcoming, and also took awhile before noticing we were at the front waiting to order despite some staff members literally standing at the counter seemingly lost.We had ordered a turkey sub and a meatball sub. The turkey had the same consistency as that of bologna(which caught us by surprise), the bread was far too hard, and the contents were shorted at the ends of each sandwich. Now the meatball sub was most interesting…considering that the sauce likely was canned as I tasted aluminum in it.Overall experience was not too great in the least. Not sure if there’s other sandwiches that taste better but these definitely did not. Would not recommend dining here.
Still on point!!......haven't been here for years.......U was in the area and hungry so I had lunch........just as good as it was years ago.......I was going to blame covid if it had changed but no need.......see picture attached.......by the time I remembered to take a picture it was to late
D’elia’s is known for their bread. The crust is crispy and the insides are soft and flavorful fresh homemade bread. My all time favorite is the ham salad grinder, it’s chopped ham in a mayo, relish dressing topped with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and drizzled with some oil. If you want it a bit spicy, add some red pepper flakes and you have a perfect sandwich (if you like ham salad). If not there are plenty of other fresh deli choices that are just as good. They also have hot sandwiches like pastrami, cheese steak or meatball. In addition the burgers are pretty good and their fries are crispy and tasty. I’ve been coming here for over 50 years and it’s still just as good as my first time as a kid.
Avoid this place. Me and my girlfriend decided to try it out. She ordered the turkey, I had the beef dip. The bread was so hard. My beef dip had barely any meat, this sandwich was so bland. Her turkey again had little meat and her bread was harder than mine. Do yourself a favor and go to Butch's grinders. We will never return here again.
I have been going to this restaurant for the past 65 years, yes, 65 years! No one makes grinders like they do. Fresh bread and ingredients. I have always ordered the regular ham grinder. What a belly buster! Awesome staff too!
One of the employees recommended the phili steak and it was delicious. The bread was super soft and had plenty of flavor. The fries were perfectly cooked. Not too fried and not under cooked. Definitely a must.
We have been going to D'Elia's for over 20 years now, and over the last couple of years their prices went up, and the quality has gone down. I am so upset with my most recent order. This is the quality now?!?! For the prices they charge, they need to do better! This was the last straw for us, we will not return to D'Elia's again. It's disgusting that they actually think this is acceptable to serve a customer. This is what qualifies as a beef dip and a Philly cheese steak. ????
