Fast service great food and friendly people what a wonderful place, I suggest the meatball grinders they are so delicious, but any other grinders are good spaghetti is good the pizza is good, so if you’ve never had it before make sure you go by there there’s nothing on the menu That isn’t good

Best subs in riverside! I’ve been eating here for years and the sandwiches never disappoint. I would highly recommend stopping in and giving them a try

They have the best sandwiches you will find anywhere, made on the freshest bread!

I have been going to Antone's for over 30 years and can't get enough. My favorite is their Special - which is pizza on garlic bread. YES PLEASE. I think it's awesome they've kept the same family recipes for 55+ years, and the little blue house on the corner that could. They are still open during the quarantine, so that means I can get my comfort food. Love them!

Their grinders are very good. But it is almost as much of a little bit of Riverside history as it is their food. I first went to Antone's in late 1972. It had already established itself as one of Riverside's cult classic sandwich favorites. Whatever you ordered, "Dad" would count out your change. After giving him a $5 bill he'd say something like ... "that's two hundred seventy five thousand dollars out of a five hundred thousand dollar bill". You left the bar where you ordered your grinder feeling like you became wealthy. A few minutes later one of his daughters would deliver your lunch. Beautiful girls with engaging personalities, just like their dad's. And dedicated to service the likes of which can only be achieved in a family owned and run establishment. The bread was always of Antone's own making, not sourced from another supplier, and always cooked fresh daily. The grinders were always served with fresh ingredients and in a home-style setting that made you feel ... at home. Today I took one of my old buddies there, a guy that used to go there with me almost 5 decades ago. I retired years ago and him a few years before that. It had been at least 25 years since either of us had been to Antone's. As the years melted away, Antone's still felt like home. And guess what? That cute little teenage girl ("Dad's" daughter) that used to deliver our grinders was now running the place ... just 30 or 40 years older. But just as engaging as I remembered her. So the grinder? Yes, it was delicious and fresh. "Dripping" with fresh taste, NOT dressings. And the atmosphere? Still homey and honest. Maybe even a bit weathered and lived-in looking. Can you get a better grinder elsewhere? Maybe. But can you visit a piece of Riverside Americana any better? I don't think so. So if you would like to sample that piece of Riverside Americana and be treated to a really fresh, honest grinder ... give Antone's a try. But they are only open for lunch (10AM to 4PM). So take one to go if you want it for dinner. And they now have a "new" address (which is very confusing to old customers like me). Their old one was listed as being at 6487 Brockton but the new one (listed at 4125 Sunnyside Drive) IS the same place. And check out that picture of "Dad" behind the person taking your order. The only thing missing is him giving you a half million dollars in change.

Small homey Italian place. Perfect for families or small events. My boys LOVE their mafia sandwich. Their meatballs are the real deal! Our family highly recommends!

I had been trying to return to Antone's, for a mafia, for many years. Used to come here at least once a week when I worked within walking distance. Whatever I had was always great. It was nice, during that time, to arrive when they first opened so the rolls were still warm...yum! Had a side trip on way here, from Oceanside, so arrived later in the day. No warm roll, but the mafia was very similar to the 70's version. The only difference is that it would have been nice to have a little more dressing on the mafia (earlier days it was dripping with sauce). Owner and employees are outstanding. Used to go when Antone was there and bigger than life. Now, his daughter has taken over and she is most delightful. Wish I lived closer, but will return anytime I am in So. Cal. Well worth the drive.
