O.M.G. AMAZING. I ordered online and was given a pick-up time but then got a call about 10 minutes later that my food was ready. The food was kept in a warming box so when I picked it up and ate it, the temperature and of course flavor were perfect. I ordered the Catfish $13.99 with red beans. I am full but want more. Next time I will order a larger meal and will look forward to the food coma. Sooooooooooooo gooood!!!
I ordered the three-fish combo with two sides. it was good. it wasn't heavy seasoned, but that is expected bc restaurants want to satisfy the palettes of everybody so they make it bland. it wasnt a lot of food for $30.00. $15.00 is the price that wld have been reasonable to me.the hush puppies were good. the fries were fries, not special.all in all it's a good meal but it's not inspiring. but that's how most restaurants are so that's not a criticism bc it's industry standard. real home cooking with the seasonings are done at home.I ordered from seamless. the delivery was on time.
Fish tasted okay, that's why I gave 2 stars.... my husband can make better fried fish. Very disappointed in sides. Coleslaw came in a tiny condiment container... it was warm and tasted old like runny mayo.... my second side was fries. There was literally 4 fries. We also ordered peach Cobbler... this tasted old like mushed up dough.... very disappointed. $80 down the drain
The food is excellent but it is pricy and I had to wait 2 hours for my food Togo. On a Friday night. Order online. And don't be in a rush to eat. I love the hushpuppies and the shrimp.
Well I must confess it had been years since I had last went to Snappers, but on Tuesday HsS fish n chips was closed so I Google fish in Richmond and saw Snapper's was open.I ordered the two-way catfish &prawns with red beans &rice and colard greens as my sides. It was delicious and good portions. So I doubled down today, Thursday, January 27 and went back to try their breakfast. I ordered the #1 Cajun Shrip Omelet with country fries with wheat toast. And boy I was not disappointed, shrimp in every bite and the potatoes cooked to perfection.I will be going back tomorrow for the lunch special 2piece Tilapia with fries to complete my work week. They are open 7 days a week so if you are in Richmond or driving through call and give them a try, you won't regret it.
Found this place online searching for soul food places to eat on a Sunday and this place was the only one that was open. I called and placed the salmon (fried) dinner which comes with 2 sides of choice. I had greens and red beans and rice. This was fire . It definitely hit different . Can't get enough!! Try them today and you will not be disappointed!!
Was out in Richmond getting my booster shot, me and my fiancée decided to grab lunch and she suggested getting some fish, spotted this place on google maps nearby and decided to stop in. Parking is on the street and I could see it being hard to find a spot at certain times of the day but the food was excellent so it's worth it.When you walk up they are set up to take your order at the door, no eating in during this time which is very wise. We were greeted by a very friendly man who took our order. I ordered the tilapia and she ordered the basa, we also ordered a side of hush puppies. It took about 20-25 minutes to get our food, which I don't mind waiting for, it is clearly made fresh and worth the wait for it.We ate in our car since it was going to be a 40 minute drive back home and oh wow were we in for a treat. Fish was fantastic, also loved the tarter sauce we got. Fries were very tasty and went really well with the hot sauce. Also, the hush puppies where great. I love hush puppies and hadn't had them in a while so these were a nice treat. For the food and our drinks it came out to about $40 and given the quality of the food I would happily pay it again. Should I find myself in Richmond again anytime soon I will be stopping by here to grab a bite to eat again and I recommend that you do as well.
1st time trying this place.. I ordered a 2pc tilapia dinner, they gave me 1 and a half piece of fish with literally 5 French fries. fish has no flavor/seasoning. so salt for fries or on fries. just a bad experience on the food. the banana pudding is delicious though.
Really good food and the service is outstanding. The snapper is amazing and if you haven't had fried salmon you should try it. They also have soul food Sunday's
One of the best little mom and pop seafood restaurants around staff was so friendly and nice my favorite was the fried oysters and the oxtails
