This time I’d like to talk about my wonderful experience at Lara’s.My wife and I were about to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and I was determined to celebrate it at Lara’s no matter what! Since I wanted a very unique celebration, I talked with Mr. Gon, an amazing person !!! I wanted the pianist to play my wife and my favorite song, Mr. Gon and Ms. Lara made arrangements for this to happen! The day came and I was very confident they were taking care of every little detail I had asked them for, and not just them , but their staff too. Well, that was an unforgettable night for my wife and myself , our hosts joined us on our celebration and made us feel so special,I have no words to thank Mr. Gon and Ms Lara for that wonderful night!!!I love this place, so I have made reservations to celebrate my wife’s birthday in October!!!Should you have any event coming, this is the place to have it!!! Mr Gong and Ms Lara will take care for you!!!I’m not giving 5 stars… I’m giving them a 100 stars!!!Highly , highly recommended!!!!!I’ll se you soon on my coming celebration!!!!!
Server was rude, ribeye steak was rubbery.One server appeared to be annoyed that our table of seven did not show up all together last night. The restaurant was not busy by any means. In fact we were one of two groups in the back left where there are a dozen tables.We spent over $400, two of us didn't even finish 2/3's of our streak. Not once did the server ask if we enjoyed our meal, even when they rushed to connect the plates while others were still eating. We had to follow up with him on drinks.This was a restaurant we loved, we enjoyed everything about it. We even have sat outside with our dog. After this experience with the food and the server, we won't be coming back. Or money is valuable and to have service like this for a $400+ bill is not right.
I went to share my half birthday with 19 friends. Great for large parties.. Gon and Gail were awesome... and Oscar made sure we were happy and satisfied. Everything was great. The song by the owner was a pleasant surprise
Still working out the kinks of service. Took 30 minutes to get water and bread. The main courses were good but the side vegetables were over cooked and unlikely fresh. I’ll try it again after they’ve had some experience with busy nights now that the pandemic is waning.
Love this hidden gem .Great views , good food , wonderful service .My dad loves the shrimp scampi ✨ The oysters are always super fresh ! And the cocktail sauce ? theee best I’ve ever had !
Amazing! I rarely write reviews but this restaurant completely blew me mind.The ambiance, food, service, the owner with her magnificent voice. She sang a happy birthday song for my father-in-law and it was extraordinary; The whole experience.The restaurant is spotless clean as well. All the staff was so friendly and you could tell they enjoyed working there.10/10 and we will definitely be back soon!
We had the most delightful lunch this afternoon. We sat outside where we were shielded from the wind and we could enjoy the beautiful view of the water. We were well cared for and the food was delicious. The pace was perfect. I often feel rushed, but today I got to relax and thoroughly enjoy everyq moment and every bite.
Exceptional customer service, beautiful scenery and ambiance inside and out, delicious warm bread and the food was just ok and a bit of a let down. The calamari was chewy with only a slight fishy taste. The stuffed chicken breast also lacked seasoning, was dry and the stuffing was underwhelming. I noticed, around my table of 5, not a single person commented that their meal was good. We enjoyed each others company, was glad for the great service and nice atmosphere . . . the food, not so much.
I do not have one complaint! the service was fantastic as well as the view! the food was outstanding! oddly enough, they hand the BEST lasagna we ever ate! oysters on half shell and sea scallops all perfection. creme Brule paired with port...omg!
Elegant dining without the fake foofoo stuff. Come in as you are and enjoy a great meal served up by an excellent staff in a beautiful location. What I love best besides the food and staff is you can dress up or down and still be treated as a VIP. Their pork chop is a must try!
