My bf ordered the torta de tres carnes, not well proportioned. All the stuff were only in the center and nothing on the edges. I got enchiladas, not authentic, sauce was great but the tortilla was dry and the chicken was dry

I love how their staffs were super friendly and the food is good.

Horrible service! We were a party of 7, waited 50 minutes at our table and hadn’t received even a cup of water. We had to ask the server again for our drinks, which took more than 10 minutes to bring us our kids drinks. I ordered a michelada and it was half empty when I received it! We ended up only paying for the drinks we received and left. Such a bad experience and customer service. The restaurant wasn’t even full.

The Best Mexican food in Oakland

Love pambazos mmm? thank you very nice service ?

Super friendly staff, very authentic, nice salsa and chips bar.

Great yummy food! Very spacious, and great environment!

I celebrated my nomination last night in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we had a marvelous evening and the venue was definitely the reason for this fruitful meeting. The stuff helped in a graceful way, the cooking was tasty and my buddies were so overjoyed. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

We are still in mourning over the closure of our beloved Hacienda Grill in Richmond. We ate there for all 16 years of its existence, Their food was delicious. We are searching for a New Mexican place that offers delicious food at reasonable prices. So last week we decided to try La Gran Chiquita for lunch.I got a chicken torta ($9.95) and Mr Rinky got a veggie burrito. The torta was tasty with tender chicken, lettuce, onion, tomatoes and mayo. I liked it but not the best I've had.Mr Rinky liked his veggie burrito--beans, rice, lettuce, tomato and guacamole. No roasted vegetables. You order at the counter and are served at your table. The counter person was very warm and friendly. The salsa bar was EXCELLENT--four kinds of salsa, radishes and a few other toppings I forgot about.Serve yourself chips. I love being able to help myself to salsa and chips. There were a few other customers--two families with young children, some solo diners and some take out folks. The restaurant is large. The bathrooms are clean and large also.I think we may return but in the meantime we'll be checking out some more places.

Food is ok. Does take awhile for the food to fully prepare.
