My first time eating here although I've heard about it for years. The ambiance not that great but the food really good. We ordered lots of different dishes, Mongolian beef, Kung pao chicken, tofu, noodles, veggie fried rice, potstickers and more... My favorite were the garlic green beans ? and Mongolian beef! Since there were only 3 of us, there were plenty of leftovers to take home too! I will def visit again, maybe take-out next time..
I order a beef stew won ton noodle soup with rice noodle wrap doughnut dish. Very good for breakfast. However the price is steep. These 2 dish ran in $21 with tax.
Food does taste decent but service is bad, rude, menu does not always reflect new ridiculous prices. How on earth fried tofu is worth $17?? If restaurant want to charge $17+ for dishes at least provide high end services to compensate crazy inflated pricing.
FIRST TIME HERE HEARD ABOUT THE FRIED LOBSTER AND NEVER DID ANYONE GREET ME AS I STOOD AT THE DOOR NOT KNOWING I SHOULD JUST WALK IN TO BE SEATED HOWEVER OTHER CUSTOMER'S WALKED IN TO BE GREETED SO I STOOD HERE STILL WITHOUT BEING ASKED IF I NEEDED ANY HELP MAYBE IT WAS MY SKIN COLOR BUT I WILL NOT BE BACK I SURE THEY SELL FRIED LOBSTER ELSEWHERE I'M SO EMBARRASSED
Ate here today when I come here I usually order the beef with egg sauce it's usually delicious, but today it was to salty... My husband and I did not like it. It gave me a headache I feel it gave me high blood. I hope there reading this review y'all need to ease down on the salt!!! The congee my husband ordered was not to good either he said it was bland the meat tasted nasty. And the water tasted nasty too like from the faucet...yuk ?
Open late night is the best part of this resturant. The food are delicious with great hospitality. Thank you for the great food guys, totally a 5 star service
This is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Service was bad. no water, no tea, no napkin. They use the same Towel to clean the dirty table for cleaning your dishes and tea cups. We ordered 5 dishes . 2 came out before 8pm. 3 came out around 8:45. Because the kitchen was on break from 8:00 to 8:30 pm. I never heard a restaurant shut down doing Rush hour for 30 minutes. And they deliver your food in the dirty bus cart. And to make the matter worse the restaurant automatic charge 18% service charges.
Diamond has been around for a long time. Not quite as good as I remember and it is in a bit of disrepair but satisfies in a pinch.
Service authentic Cantonese cuisine and dim sum. Good service and a large seating hall.
Got the prawns in egg sauce over chow fun. It was excellent. I haven't had Chinese food this good in years. Every component of the meal was wonderful. The chow fun was unusually flavorful and had great texture: not too hard, not too soft, good amount of stretchiness. The prawns were also unusually flavorful. And while it's actually kind of difficult to find *bad* egg sauce--so it shouldn't be a surprise that it's good here--it's still worth noting that it *is* really good. The portion was also very generous.
