It was my first time there. I only went there because my favorite fish place, Fishbone was closed. Initially I thought to go elsewhere because the only worker there didn't even acknowledge you for a few moments. She didn't say hi be right with you or nothing. She kept on frying food. When she finally came to the counter she smiled and took the order. I watched her grab the frozen looking fish strips and then place them in batter to fry. Amazingly the fish was tasty. I'm not a fan of the fries (chips).
I grew up right down the street in the early 90s, and I can say they are still the same great place and same ladies. Foods always made fresh to order and taste great ? . You won't be disappointed
If you're looking for fish and chips look no further. And any other manner of deep fried food as well. I had the London, 2 pc and fries and wanted to add zuchinni to the order then changed my mind and wanted the mushrooms. I ended up getting both (a little language barrier I think plus me not knowing what I want) and I was not disappointed. Cole slaw is a little bland for my taste but overall excellent.
Really delicious batter for all the fried foods, and i have yet to see the fish/shrimp be overcooked! Everyone here is really friendly, too.
Went with my family recently. There’s no air conditioning, or it was out of order, so the little dining area was extremely hot. We all ordered a daily special plate with fried shrimp, fish, zucchini, hush puppies and French fries. The portions were generous but the food was greasy, as though the frying oil might not have been hot enough. It was ok for a quick lunch, which is what we were after.
It was okay not much flavor on its own fish, chicken or jumbo shrimp wasn't very jumbo.I gave three stars because was made when order and the fish was a good size
Pending me actually being able to try the food before I raise the review. The lady here showed up 5 minutes late to open the store and said it would be another 15 minutes before the fryers could hear up
Love this place. Delicious flaky fish, killer shrimp, and surprisingly good coleslaw. Their cocktail sauce and tartar sauce are off the chain.
So excited to see an HSalt Fish n Chips. No line, old fashion smell of how I remember them when I was younger. Prices, food, service, all awesome.
I ordered the fried zucchini it was great‼️My husband ordered the 3 piece fish w/ 2 large shrimp & ships (french fries). Everything was excellent. ???
