This was surprisingly good. The vegan meat for the bolognese wasn’t so good - it was a bad texture and bland. Clearly was rehydrated soy but they didn’t add any flavor to it (tasted like cardboard) and it was still too hard and chewy. The rest of it was excellent though. The vegan cheese and cream sauce were divine - I ended up just eating the top layer of vegan cheese, cream, pasta & tomato sauce and it was very very good. With this in mind, I’m giving 4 stars and I would try their other flavors. It is pricy at $20 but a huge portion, could last 2 meals if you stretched it.I did takeout so can’t comment on the location.
Best vegan and vegetarian Lasagna I ever had in and outside of the U.S.! Very "cheesey" and "meaty" with no weird flavors or aftertaste from the vegan alternative ingredients. The Classic Mac & Vegan was the sweetest Mac & "Cheese" I've ever tasted but the texture was perfect. The Mac & Vegan was pricey since the flavor was odd but the Lasagna definitely made it worth the trip! The service was great because it's self-checkout when ordering, the wait for the food wasn't long, and the guy working there was nice. The restaurant is actually called Broadway Sandwich Market and they have an interesting variety of foods and desserts available (the vegan brownie was soft and decadent!), plus a rack with imported Mediterranean/Middle Eastern products.
I went here with a vegan friend who was in town, and who found this place based on all the great reviews. Took us a minute to find it because it's in a shop called the Broadway sandwich market. We went in and the staff directed us to order from a kiosk which offered vegan lasagna, Ethiopian food, "Asian" food (dumplings pictured) and a few other cuisines I can't remember. It seemed weird but we went with it anyway. The lasagna came in plastic containers and was good, but my friend ordered the pita chips which looked like the tiny pieces from the bottom of a bag and came with a dinky container of sauce. Apart from the chips the food was fine but the atmosphere of the place was super weird and I got the impression that the food had come from a microwave or something. What other restaurant would have vegan lasagna, Asian, and Ethiopian food? It was expensive too, like $17 for a modest lasagna portion. From the perspective of looking for an actual restaurant experience it was a bummer and next time I'd just get frozen lasagna from the store, save a bunch of money, and microwave it at home.
So excited to find a vegan and gluten free lasagna that is delicious! Thank you Vegan Lasagna Garden.
Possibly the best vegan lasagna places I’ve discovered so far. Their truffle mushroom lasagna and bolognese lasagna are my favourite so far! Definitely recommend!
The food is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I had the truffle mushroom and the bolognaise! I highly recommend this place.
Perfectly cooked, delicious lasagna cannot believe it is vegan. Definitely coming back
