I hate cilantro!!! Hate hate hate!!!!! I don't like it when restaurants mix the cilantro with the onions, or only have salsa w/ cilantro. I still like to order from here. Food tastes fresh and flavourful. Lost one star for adding Pico de Gallo which had cilantro, to my food.
This place has gone terribly down hill. As a Mexican who used to come here all the time since she was a kid, I would say stay as far away as possible from this place. Any other Mexican restaurant would be a better option.I grew up in redwood city, a few blocks away from this place. The food used to always be very tasty and affordable; however, it is neither tasty not affordable.The flavor of the food was lacking. They didn't offer enough salsas or seasoning, and they charge extra for most small things other restaurants will give for free. I have been there a few times recently, and the last time was the worst of all.I ordered three tacos de lengua (beef tongue tacos) with the sauce on the side. The order was served with the meat at the corner of box with the tortillas thrown into the box. It looked like someone just tossed the food into the box from across the restaurant. My partner worked in the restaurant business for years, and he noticed how horribly packed it was as well.Besides the horrible packing, the food didn't have any toppings, it was just meat and tortillas. I had asked for everything on top except for the sauce (which was to be kept to the side), and nothing was on the food. It is incredibly disappointing to receive food like that especially when one is very hungry.In addition to the tasteless food and horrible packaging, the prices are ridiculous. I understand housing prices have gone up and it is an expensive area to live in; however, almost all of the other Mexican restaurants in the area are cheaper and taste better.This place is NOT worth your money. Stay as far away as possible and support any other business. They do not deserve your money.
I ordered a quesadilla it really didnt have much cheese in it at all it was pretty good but what's a quesadilla with no queso?
muy mal servicio..la vieja del grullense del que tiene drive thru, da muy mal servicio.tiene un inche carácter que te quita el hambre...es una vieja ojona,morena y pelo largo..realmente para que te puedan gustar la comida de un lugar,deve de gustarte el servicio...y esa vieja lo que le falta es mucha experiencia,lastima que sea la vieja del dueño...por eso no le dicen nada....

Great Mexican food. A little spicy even when you order mild. The drive through is great for a quality Mexican food.
