Everyone loved what they ordered! Eggs Benedict, Feta omelet, Mexican omelet without chorizo, all meat omelet, and California Eggs Benedict. Our waitress was attentive. She overheard it was my sister's birthday and she brought her a whipped cream with fruits dish with 3 candles on it. We'll definitely be back! Not a long wait on a Sunday morning, about 15 minutes.
Stacks is always good!! But.........The price..... 2 breakfasts no steak nothing fancy with coffee $50.00 well $44.57 $50.00 with tip.. not the way to start the day.THE FOOD AND SERVICE VERY GOOD.BUT......TO EXPENSIVE..And I'll prolly go back and get the special.
Check it out for breakfast or brunch. The food & service was good. They have outdoor sitting
My experience eating at Stacks in San Carlos was positive. We enjoyed the plain Waffles and Plain Pancakes. We ordered a side of Scrambled eggs and Bacon. We ordered a latte and this was surprisingly good. Our service was outstanding and the dinning room was very clean. I recommend a visit.
If you haven't tried Stack's Bacon Bloody Mary, just do it. Two perfectly cooked slices of bacon and a delicious cocktail! I coupled my drink and coffee with a huge open-face breakfast sandwich on English muffin. Ask for a side of hollandaise sauce to add some flavor to the muffin. You won't be disappointed. To top it off, the bacon is too die for. Great service, friendly staff, nice and clean.
The service is great. The food was good but I had some issues. First, they have fresh orange juice on the menu, which I took to mean fresh squeezed which it was not. Second, my wife's garden crepe was cold. My veggie omelette was warm but not hot. We ordered dark roast coffee. It was dark roast but so watered down and again, kind of on the cold side. The ambience is good. The place is clean.
This place has tremendously dropped in quality and service. This place is booming yet they have outdated utensils, plates and mugs.My last visit was horrible! For the amount of money spent here, time waited with terrible service, I have not thought about dining here EVER AGAIN!You can get better quality of food, better service and better price at other local places in Redwood City. Some advice for the owner and management. Train your servers to be professional and hospital. Having bad servers with no hospitality and lack in professionalism, you won't have returning customers, pretty pathetic that it took one bad experience for us to say NEVER AGAIN!
I enjoyed the pancakes and bacon. Others got cold food.
A solid 4. Decent food, friendly staff, but high prices even for an American style breakfast place. The atmosphere was welcoming and the restaurant was warm and perfect for a morning start. Going along with this was their smooth cup of coffee, the most vital part of eating breakfast out. I would definitely go again, but will try out something else on their pretty large menu. Also they need a build your own pancake breakfast option.
I ordered the chicken fried steak and instead of gravy, they put oatmeal on top….
