We had a great time eating near the water. The servers were great and kept us entertained with some inside humor. The hotel also validated our parking.
Atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly, but super expensive for a glass of wine. It is the bar at a hotel after all, so I guess that is standard.

Had a quite stop over at this hotel and went to the bar/restaurant for dinner. We had the best service from Edwin. Super nice and very professional. Made great cocktails and his recommendations for dinner were spot on. I was a little nervous because the hotel had just changed hands and seemed to be finding their way. But seeing Edwin in previous reviews from a few years ago made me smile. Keep him. He is great.
Sat at the bar at 9pm on a Wednesday and got served quickly. Food came quick, salmon w/ rice was great, and the Brussels sprouts were amazing!

We are regulars. We ordered takeout on Mother's Day and this place was slammed. They messed up our order, which was understandable. They seemed to be doing their best under difficult circumstances.We called the restaurant the next day. The owner called us back and apologized profusely and gave us a complementary full-blown meal with wine dessert etc. This was incredibly generous and not at all expected.Aside from the stellar customer service, the food here is heavenly. Slove the restaurant, the atmosphere, wait staff and we are happy they're busy during this pandemic and look forward to the day when we can sit in the dining room once again.
If you're looking for a place to get GREAT drinks, this is the place. They might be a bit pricey in comparison, however, EVERY INGREDIENT is made from scratch! I've tried almost every drink on the menu! The bartenders are friendly and great at recommending drinks. Although, it does get super busy there, so be patient. And remember, the drinks are made from scratch...it takes more time but totally worth it! I always get the same thing to eat, the potato tacos, and they are pretty good, but the preparation is inconsistent. They're different every time, but still good. The customers are usually cool as I generally go by myself and end up making at least 2 new friends! I've only sat at the bar, so I can not comment on the wait staff. The decor is very nice, based on the old history of LA. Pretty cool theme!! Oh, and they have a GREAT happy hour!!
