This new place replaced O'Hana. They are doing a great job, having to open during the covid-19 shutdown. First time ordering. The ribs were good. Will be going back to try another selection.
I had a mix up between Redwood City BBQ and DoorDash Wednesday night. My order got picked up but never delivered. The restaurant gave me a refund AND replaced my order yesterday. They were so determined to make it right for me, I appreciate when a business shows their customers how much they are valued. I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the service but the food is delicious as well!!

The stars are strictly because the staff was fast, friendly and the fries were bomb. Otherwise, the food was bad and was not fresh. Chicken had no flavor and was severely undercooked, tri tip tasted like it had been sitting awhile and had a strange sourness to it, bread was burnt, baked beans were hard and chalky, the berry cobbler tasted freezer burned, as did the ice cream. I paid almost $40 and all the kids could finish were the fries. I was hoping for a better experience...**UPDATE AS OF 9:30PM**I am currently on my way to the ER with my 11 year old who is showing severe symptoms of food poisoning! She ate the tri tip and the beans. Totally unacceptable, she's been sick since lunchtime!
The BEST barbecue we’ve ever had!
A good start. Happy, thoughtful team with pretty good food. A bit too much salt (the brisket is good and the garlic bread is good, but together its a bit salty), good corn bread and yummy BBQ sauce - we will be back, thanks!
Just tried it for the first time. Got the brisket meal and pulled pork meal. The meat was very tender. The beans were excellent, the cole slaw nice and light. Will definitely go again.

My wife and I ordered two dinners to go. The service was friendly and very efficient. We received our meal very promptly. The food was delicious and theportions were very generous. The next time we go we will dine outside. Hope you go and enjoy this new addition to the Peninsula dining scene.
