Went with family for a dinner and enjoyed a lot. Friendly service, very good food. We ordered a few sushi rolls, 2/3 appetizers. All good was presented in a very nice way and more importantly was tasting great. Also their house sake (warm) was very good. We also enjoyed the French rose. Overall very good experience, highly recommended. They have indoor and outdoor seating, payment by credit cards only.. They are not taking reservations and the place filled up quickly (we were there around 6.30ish pm), you may want to call ahead of the time and check on wait time.
For vegans this is really the best sushi in the bay area. Lots of flavors and food comes out very fast. The restaurant is pretty tiny and crowded. You might find your table sticky, but you can ask them to clean it. Overall we enjoyed it. The price is average, maybe a bit too expensive for what we ordered.
Had these authentic Veg Sushi for the very first time and absolutely loved them ? All of them were great, but Call me nuts (1) and Veggie on fire (2) were my fav! Best part about the call me nuts was the avocado ? and the caramelised walnut topping ?. Also this place has got really great options for Vegetarians and Vegans ????? Amazing! isn’t it?...Where [email protected] , cozy little cute sushi place ?..Follow @foodietect2.0 for more delicious updates ?
We went here for lunch after getting great recommendation from my friend and I should say we weren’t disappointed. We ordered spicy vegetarian roll (it wasn’t spicy), cucumber avacado crunch and broccoli tempura roll and all of them were outstanding. I’ll highly recommend this place especially if you want to try sushi for the first time like me.
This is our first time returning after pandemic. Overall a very positive experience. It took a bit too long to get us a table and take our order. However after order was taken food started coming really fast. Service was super friendly and fish is fresh call mom good variety of interesting unique items. It’s worth noting that they open at 4:30 which is convenient for families with kids or just people looking for late lunch-earlier dinner.
A little pricey but very high quality sushi, the meat was super fresh. They didn't have real crabmeat, that was a let down.We had1. Miso soup (4/5 light on flavor)2. Hamachi Truffle (5/5)3. Blue fin chu toro (5/5)4. Spicy tuna crunch (5/5)5. California crunch (5/5)6. Mango salmon roll (4/5 the mango flavor was weak)Fast and courteous service.
Amazing vegan and veggie sushi: They have a good menu for vegetarian sushi with different veggies, and spice level. You don't end up feeling like having the same dish with different sauce. The place gets pretty crowded on weekends. But the service was quick. The gyoza starters were fresh and tasty.
I love the this place. It's my new favorite place to go to for my weekly dinner out! Great for people who are vegan/vegetarian as well!
We went to Oh Baby Sushi on the weekend right before they closed for dinner and it was great! We service was really quick and we ordered 4 rolls: the Spicy Veggie, the Mango Asparagus, the Veggie on Fire and Veggie Tiger. We liked all of them except the Mango Asparagus - it was tasty but just felt out of place with the other 3 since it was a bit sweeter/tangy with the mango on top. Oh Baby Sushi is our favourite for vegetarian and vegan options but just keep in mind that each set of 8 pieces is $16.95 - not the cheapest but great for an occasional sushi craving! Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the veggie menu.
Recommended to reserve on maps, we called them up around their opening hours, but we were told walk-in should be just fine. I would still recommend to reserve during later in the day as it got pretty busy really quick after we sat down. They have a small outdoor seating area and a compact area with 6-7 tables inside. The service staff was really kind and helped us answering questions about their comprehensive menu options. We ordered spicy garlic edamame, jalapeno bomb to start off with and both were great. Would recommend their garlic edamame over the regular ones. For the main course, Spicy veggie roll(MUST TRY as per their menu) worked well for us indeed along with Veggie rolls on fire(I had initially thought they were one of those sushis on Fire, but its not). It's in fact their house-made spicy sauce and was top notch. To complement the food, we had a mango lemonade which I was trying for the first time, it was well above average.Overall a great comfort food option, and I will definitely revisit for their salmon sushis next time. :)
