Dropped by this evening for tacos, had a pleasant chat with the proprietor while waiting for food and we commiserated over skyrocketing food prices (hence them no longer offering lengua). While expensive and requiring a minimum order of 2, the fish tacos at Karlita's are some of the best I've ever had, no exaggeration. Incredibly tender fish, wonderful blend of flavors, and a solid pile of ingredients to wrap it all up as a very satisfying nomnomnom. It's not your typical fried fish with slaw and salsa on a tortilla, which can certainly be excellent. The fish is some sort of slow cooked and melts in your mouth, and is complimented with avocado, black beans, and is utterly completed by a squeeze of lime juice. SO good.Other tacos tried: carne asada was ok, chili verde pork was good, and the al pastor was *superb*.Will be back for more!
Great tacos at Karlita’s. They’re big too. Normally I order 5 tacos but here that’s too much food.
Tiny little place at the end of a nondescript strip mall, but don't miss it! Fast service and really tasty food. I will return.
Great customer service and the popusas are awesome.
Food is fine, but be aware that they have updated the prices that they charge without updating the posted menu prices. This is technically illegal but they're banking on people letting the 15-20% increase slide.
10/10, can’t wait to come back! I tried several pupusas, and now I’m hooked! ❤️
Top notch tacos can be found here. I LOVE how they season their grilled chicken. Only downside: they close at 7:30pm.
Awesome papusa plates here
Great place ?real mexican food
Their tacos dorados are the best I have had, but of course you go here for the pupusas. They're a tiny hole in the wall in a strip mall and there's usually a line out the door. The pupusas are authentic, fairly priced, and generous in size. Options on the menu are extensive and not properly reflected by online pictures - just go there and order, you won't be disappointed.
