Outstanding fish and a really nice small dining room. Location is unassuming. Staff was great - moved us indoors from the covered patio when a table was available.

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The chirashi was beautifully presented, the sashimi tasty and of a wider variety than most other Japanese restaurants I've been to. Their takoyaki had a really lovely crisp exterior and a perfectly cooked interior; genuinely the best I've had.Service was very fast and attentive. The experience was well worth the price tag.

Went here last night and we were overcharged. They were out of two nigiri we ordered and forgot one nigiri entirely. Our first bill had all items still on it (even the 60 dollars worth of things they were out of and/or forgot) the second bill had one piece of nigiri removed, like we wouldn't notice they only removed on 10 dollar nigiri.Bummer too, because we used to love this place. Keep your credit card far away from here.

This place is by far the best Japanese sushi restaurant with a reasonable price and great selections. Tamago is exceptional! You will find quality tempura here as well. I love the vibe in addition. I am saving it for my one of the handful favorite places. You will have your stomach full with just nigiri without filling it with rolls. We ordered two Combination A, additional sushi from the board, tempura, and temaki.
Had an amazing first time experience at this little gem in Redwood City. Friendly and professional service. Fresh menu, really cute spot. Highly recommended!
Great selection. Fish supper fresh. Wonderful staff. My only advice is avoid driving here if you can, as the parking is limited.
