Absolutely delicious. Probably the freshest and crispiest falafel I’ve ever had! The lemon hibiscus tea was very refreshing too. Will definitely be coming back!
The food here seasoned so well and awesome. I travel all over the states and this place has the best Mediterranean cruise I’ve ever had from veggie to meat options you can’t go wrong. You have to try the Hibiscus tea also. Great place.
This is the BEST FOOD I’ve had! My wife and I live in San Francisco and have had some amazing food but we will drive about 40minutes to Redwood City for Falafel and Things! Amir is the owner and is great. My favorite plate to get is the NY chicken and beef gyro combo over rice. The chicken and beef are mouth watering just thinking about it and the rice is flavorful and savory. It also comes with pickled cabbage, lettuce salad, and marinated onions which are all packed with delicious flavors.Another thing that I love here is the Falafel and Hummus. I believe this is his specialty. (Hence the name.) I have not had any like it! Do yourself a favor and order it!Just last week we got a catering order from Amir and everyone was raving about it! Weather it was the Falafel, Hummus, Rice, Chicken & Beef, or the pickled cabbage they absolutely loved it! I’m excited to eat some more leftovers later. Thankyou Amir for the great food and great service and we will hopefully see you again soon.
Everything was absolutely excellent, these reviews are definitely real. Probably best falafel I’ve ever had. Hummus is top tier (lots of high quality tahini inside, chickpeas are deskinned) , suuuuuper fluffy. Baklava also great.
Got the veggie combo (hummus, pita, falafel, & grape leaves), baklava, and hibiscus tea. The meal was authentic, tasty, Mediterranean fare. The baklava was delicious. If you do go there, definitely try the hibiscus tea—it was the icing on the cake to a fabulous meal. Good quantity, great value. Looking forward to my next meal there!Note: It is a food truck, but there are a few small tables next to it if you want to eat there.
I came here after seeing the very high reviews, and drove right by it since I didn’t realize it was a food truck. Parking on a Wednesday night along the street was pretty tough but found a spot around the corner down the street (seems like there was a church service starting) I ordered ahead online and my food was ready when I arrived.Ordered the vegetarian plate, chicken and steak plate, and a hibiscus tea. Veggie plate came with three large falafels (crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside) three dolmas (fresh and tangy) babaghanoush (my favorite, smoky and creamy) hummus with some sort of creamy sauce on it (I’m never impressed with hummus so it was standard), a couple of pickles (too salty for my taste but my bf liked them) and shredded lettuce and cabbage/raw onion mix.For the chicken/beef plate I asked for extra hot sauce on the side but it came on top of the meat so it was too spicy for me to enjoy. The rice had good flavor and the pita was warm and soft but I couldn’t eat much of it. Also came with lettuce/cabbage/onions.Hibiscus tea was very refreshing, I added club soda to it since I don’t like drinks too sweet and it was perfect. There were a few gritty bits that took me by surprise that I think might have been from the sugar? But it was delicious.Overall, good value with the amount of food for slightly lower than usual Bay Area prices. I live in the city so would probably go back and try something else if I was in the area.
My wife and I LOVE the food from here, we go here on a regular occasion now. If you are looking for delicious vegan food look no farther than Falafel and Things!
We had a very enjoyable evening at this restaurant! Maybe it was a result of drinking the 'Red Dragon' - a refreshing and yummy alcoholic drink. The atmosphere was warm and the food was cooked to perfection. The crab cake was the best I have ever eaten and the dessert 'banana foster butter cake' was sinfully delicious! Tony was great!
Yes, is the best place in the area, also it’s the best middle eastern food I have ever had (better than restaurant). Strongly recommended, you won’t regret it.
The best of the best place ever in the area ,the food was 5 Stars ,the place was clean ,the falafel ? was amazing Ill try it again,It was a great experience.
