I live in Long Beach and I’m here in San Francisco for a work trip i was hungry and searched for a Peruvian restaurant and came across this gem , the food was delicious feels homemadeThe atmosphere was nice with the Peruvian music and decorations I love it the services was amazing 10/10 would recommend!! ❤️

We went to this restaurant on Sunday and tried a couple of things. The food tasted very fresh, and was cooked well. The main thing they did wrong was the temperature of the steaks, they were basically all underdone. My husband asked for the steak well done, and they gave him a medium to medium rare. The other ones were between a medium to medium well. Only one came out without any pink out of 5.The shrimp in the “ceviche” came out whole which I’ve never seen in a ceviche, but they were delicious. The fruit smoothies didn’t have any sugar, but we were okay with that. If you like sweet smoothies, you will need to add sugar to yours. The milk for the coffee was definitely off, so both my husband and father in law weren’t able to drink their coffees.I had a lomo saltado, and it was perfect. My mom loved the avocado salad. My suegros got the Mar y Tierra and loved it. They added some salt and pepper to their food as others described, but that’s better than over seasoned food. The dessert was absolutely delicious and they made it fresh which is super important.

The service is fast and the prices are reasonable but the food wasn’t as flavorful as I have tasted in the past. They could probably revamp the recipes and adjust seasonings here and there. Very nice servers!

No worthy, I got first time food there for Uber eats and got the jalea de mariscos, no tasty at all, small portions and terrible presentation, the rice smell bad and same with the yuca, like a old food

Went to eat here for the first time for lunch. The food looked amazing and the restaurant looked beautiful. The Peruvian music made me nostalgic and brought memories from childhood. A couple issues with the food though. The anticuchos were cooked on the outside and pretty red/bloody inside. The paella de mariscos/seafood paella wasn’t flavorful and we had to add quite a bit of salt to feel something. The ceviche did not taste fresh. I did let the waitress know that the onions smelled rancid and the rancid flavor carried throughout the dish but she just acknowledged it. Maybe it wasn’t a good day for the chef, but for the price point my expectations were a bit higher. Might give them a second chance in the future.
