So happy to have found this place. They make an excellent grilled chicken tostada with generous amounts of avocado. The chicken is very flavorful, all veggies are fresh and the prices are very reasonable. A new favorite for sure!
The whole exp was horrible n will never order thru them again I placed an order for delivery. In the notes I put detailed things I wanted on side not on food and I paid priority well they not only didn't read the notes the didn't put any utinsels and added sour cream to the tacos for the. So I called them they said bring it back n. We will. Fix it. So I go and Ana who st her supervisor was not in starts to argue n verbally told me they don't pay attention to what the notes say they only prepare what's got a price on it. So basically "we don't care how u want ur food the descript is under the item thats what you get"
The online ordering system for this restaurant might be the worst I have ever encountered at any restaurant. Placing an order is no problem, but picking up the order is a complete disaster. There’s a sign that says something about online order pickup when you enter the restaurant. One would think that they should go to this sign to pick up their order. But no matter how long I stand at this sign I am ignored by the staff. So after enough time of being ignored, I’ll go to the counter where orders are placed to say I’m here to pick up an order. The employee taking orders then rolls their eyes and criticizes me to say that I’m supposed to go to the sign that says online order pickup. But I was just waiting there for 10 minutes and no employee even made eye contact with me, let alone said, “One minute. We’ll be with you shortly.” I don’t understand why the person taking orders cannot help me if there’s no one in line placing an order.Put simply, you have to wait longer to grab your online order that’s ready and waiting behind the counter than you have to wait in line, place your order, and then wait for that order. All the El Grullense locations in and around Redwood City are great, but this one is horrible. I’m going to be avoiding this place until they can improve their online order pickup process. The situation is absurd as it currently stands.
Tacos are awesome, me and my wife love this little place. We have tried their chorizo, carnitas, al pastor, fish, and shrimp tacos and they are all great. Looking to trying other things on the menu. 2 bucks a taco isn't bad either (fish and shrimp cost more but are way bigger).
The named is Francisco, he used to beat up his wife up and also his a coke head. Got pull over by the cops and made his employee take the blame for it. Don't support evil people..
This is the spot for some REAL good mexican food. Depends on the day and time you go but the wait is worth it regardless imo. They updated their seating area inside and out. The ambiance is very inviting, they even have a live DJ and some times musicians play live.The employees are always nice, pleasant and helpful. This place is located in a shopping plaza. Plenty of parking, bathrooms are clean. I always come here and I live in the South Bay.
Food was the best. Loved the music and the restaurant was clean. My only problem was the cashier couldn't answer my question because she didn't know enough English. And never got anyone who could. The cook waited 15 minutes to start cooking my food. No new customer in the restaurant.
Tacos were so good. the tortilla Really crispy the way I like it. salsa verde soooo good it's just not too hot not too spicy it's just perfect natural water drinks are so good. I recommend this place!
