Briskets are fantastic! The dry-rub ribs are well seasoned and have a lot of smoke flavor. Cole slaw and potato salad were pretty good. I was not a fan of the mac & cheese, which was a bit watery/milky. Overall, great food and I hope to try their beer selection next time.
One of the best brisket I’ve had in San Francisco. Lots of outdoor sitting and staff are really friendly too. Mac and cheese is average but the beans and kale salad are pretty good.

What fantastic BBQ joint! Visiting California from Florida for 10 days this was the best restaurant of the trip. We tried a bit of everything and it was all excellent. My favorite was the ribs, beef brisket, and sausages. The sides were great too. Super friendly staff and owners, cool artwork and atmosphere, and great beer selection. I can’t wait to go back on my next visit to the Bay Area
Excellent Texas-style bbq, brisket is outstanding, great sauces, fantastic collection of beers (including good ol' Shiner bock). Felt like I was eating and enjoying bbq in Austin, Texas! Great job by the team and congrats to the owners, highly recommended.
Incredible Texas BBQ in Redwood City!! The brisket is on point smokey and moist but almost falls apart. The staff is AMAZING!! Friendly, informative and welcoming. The rotating beer selection is so good everything you could want from a BBQ spot. Make sure you stop in and try everything. You will love it.
This place is absolutely fantastic. The food is Delicious. They have a huge variety of Draft beer, the service was amazing the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The owner was walking around visiting tables. Mike the Bartender is very knowledgeable and they have a beautiful outdoor space with live music (usually on the weekends) The DJ(Pajaro 650) was playing awesome music throughout the day. I definitely enjoyed this place and I highly recommend it ?
One of the better BBQ places in Redwood City. The brisket is the best meat here, and the creamed corn is the best side. There are four different sauces to choose from, and each does have a distinct taste. The portions are decent for the price.
Fantastic barbecue, and hands down the best brisket I've had in the Bay Area! I can attest that they make authentically Texas BBQ. Brisket has an amazing smoke ring, flavor penetrates to the center, and is amazingly tender. Pork ribs are another highlight. I honestly can't tell the difference between Capelo's and most great BBQ places in Houston. They come to my workplace regularly, and it's always a treat to see them as a lunch option!
Great service, delicious food, and a great selection of beers.We had chicken sandwich and the meat plate (beef brisket). Both were delicious.The service is also very friendly. They have indoor seating and a bar setup.
