Good food cooked to perfection.some sandwiches available as combos you like the savings .could use some freshen up in between customers using the tables.good service. good team.
Great place. Old Greek style burger place. Similar to Jim's burgers in San Gabriel Valley.
My daughter and I had lunch here, used to tell her how delicious I remember the food being. She ordered a grilled chicken sandwich w/fries and I had to get the pastrami, but I wanted some chili cheese fries, so I ordered them.....everything was excellent!! 10 out of 10. It will definitely be a routine food stop for us.
Ordered online to pick up, They never got the order. I showed them proof i payed and cook, made immediately. Ordered the bacon burrito, Im not much of a bacon person, but thought they needed to put more in the burrito. Over all was very Happy, with my experience.

My confirmed pick up time was 20 minutes from the time I ordered.(Jr Burger combo)When I got to Rods, my order wasn't ready. Thus, I had to wait until it was prepared. Once I got my food (10 minutes later), to confirm the accuracy of my order: (No pickles, no cheese, regular onions, extra crispy fries), the employee checked the "ticket". However, when I questioned the fries' lack of crispiness, he got a french fry from my order and offered me to taste it! HE TOUCHED MY FOOD AFTER IT WAS BAGGED!!! I then refused the fries. When I got home, I discovered that my Jr. burger did not have onions -as requested- and I did not get my drink. I immediately called to speak to a manager who assured me I would get my money back as soon as the call ended. Well, no money was refunded. It's not a lot of money but if I'm paying for what I want, I expect exactly that! Plus, I felt violated when the employee touched my food.
They where closing and i didn't know but they still helped make me and my daughter our meals and I really appreciate that .these are some good folks and they made the food very very good ? .it was my daughter's bday so it was great to have a fine meal before going to the theater to watch an anime movie ?. delicious ? Burgers?
My family and I I've been going to Rods for Generations, sadly since the last ownership change the quality and taste of the food has gone completely downhill, to the burgers to the omelets to the chili cheese fries...even the tacos. I do not recommend this place at all anymore.
If you're in the area and want a classic char burger, this is the spot. The food is great and the workers even better. Definitely coming back
Courteous people and a very clean place but the burgers are dry and tasteless.I say try it, maybe you would like it, only because of the char. It tastes almost like a dry version of a Whopper.
