I had drank so much whisky that evening, that pizza was the most responsible course of action. Little did I know, it was also a spiritual one.This pizza took me on a journey within my own soul. This pizza shouldn’t be served flat. It should be served in a fourth dimension, at all times of my life, through every fiber of my being. Does depth take on new meaning beneath the cheesy blankets of this dough? Yes. Yes it does.
This is THE pizza in the South Bay. Friendly people, awesome pie, and a great variety. The desserts are good too!

It is tucked into the many restaurants along Catalina Street in Redondo Beach. It looks like your regular old pizza place, but theres something looming in the kitchen. Watch out! It's a flavor-bomb! We had the margarita pizza and it was outstanding! The crust was perfectly cooked, not too thick or thin, it was really perfect, the sauce and mozzarella was super tasty too. Topped with fresh basil it was the cherry on the proverbial Sunday! Also, there were a lot of people coming in to pickup orders that were placed either online or on the phone (not sure if they take orders online or not) point being, there was quite a volume of orders being picked up. In this day and age with delivery so readily available, and so many people coming to pickup their own dinner speaks volumes to the quality of the food! Needless to say, I will definitely be back!
Great lunch special. Ordered pesto chicken sandwich with tomato soup. Everything made fresh and tasted amazing.
Lunch combo #2 is bigger than I expected! The 2 slices were really 4. Thin crust. NY style pizza at reasonable prices and plenty of outdoor seating.The menu is extensive too--pasta, personal pizzas, salads & apps. Look for metered parking on side streets

Delivery through DoorDash was quick and food came hot. The family wanted pizza but I went for one of their popular dish items instead...Mushroom Ravioli. I was not disappointed! The marsala cream sauce was thinner than I wanted. However, it was delicious & its richness gave the impression of a thicker sauce. The mushrooms in & on the ravioli were sautéed to perfection and the caramelized onions & asparagus took this dish to the next level. I would definitely order this again! The only downside to the dish was the garlic cheese bread. It was a hunk of baguette with a lackluster melted slice of cheese; no hint of garlic anywhere. The mushroom ravioli speaks for itself; the garlic cheese bread is not needed.The pizza from here is amazing! The crust is by default thin; which my family loves. One thing we've noticed when ordering thin crust pizzas from anywhere is that if the pizza is topping heavy, the thin crust tends to be soggy. Not here at Village Pizza! Even after the first bite, each bite is crisp & snaps. My hubby ordered the Village Special Pizza & the kids ordered the New York All Meat Pizza. Both pizzas had fresh toppings & the topping combinations were delicious.Lastly, we had an order of buffalo wings. The hot level was perfect and the flavor was on point. We didn't even need to use the ranch or blue cheese that came with it. What made these buffalo wings stand out from others was the way they were completely saturated in sauce yet were still crunchy.
This pizza location was highly recommended instead of the more "fast foodish" pizza place down the street. We were so glad we made this choice - order at the counter - a large slice, make sure to get a salad also - so large, so good; sit outside and people watch.........loved it!
