Havent been to there deli yet, but if its anything like there restaurant that was by the water it will be great!!!!Im from the south bay, born and raised, but we now live in SW Bakersfield, but we do try to get down there every 3 months or so to enjoy a fun day back home!, and i used to go to Milis with my mom for years as a teen in the 90s, and there was nothing like the view, and service and great food for lunch!, were so glad the family is back in the area!, our next trip down in march, will be the first try out for the deli! stay safe all and take care!
Put this place on your places to go to. Loved it. Good families Values. You can tell they have alot of experience and they care. Great food, the crispy/flakey in the bread will bring me back. All around everything was perfect. You guys did real good. Thank you
20 buks a sandwich but I have no complaints about the quality
WOW! JUST WOW! You know that feeling when u find a spot and wonder how come you hadn't been there before? That was me today, tasting the food at Riera's Place. Generous portions and SUPER friendly staff. They make their pastrami in-house and the hot pastrami sandwich was on hit! Saw they had pizza and got a slice kicker...BOOM! Crunchy crust with lots of cheese. Seriously, this is a MUST if u want a sandwich, salad or slice of pizza. For dessert..chocolate banana pudding cake! HEAVEN!Officially on the rotation!**UPDATE** I hit this place again and got the pizza and La Cubana along with a side of ahi tuna. Going on record...I DARE YOU to find a better ahi tuna. Sorry Flyin" Fin...sorry Nobu...just sayin THE BEST. La Cubana was a solid cuban sandwich, too. Seriously quality food.P.S. Now the have choc chip cookies, too.
This is hands down the best Deli in the South Bay. Best pastrami in the state. Possibly the world.

Visiting from out of town, my brother and I stumbled upon this place. It’s tucked away in an unassuming strip mall, so we weren’t sure what to expect. The aroma when we stepped inside was encouraging. The service was excellent, friendly and competent. And the sandwiches! So delicious! The meats and cheeses are high quality, but it’s the bread that did it for me. I think anything would taste great on that bread. It’s the perfect balance of chewy and soft on the inside and flaky and crisp on the outside. The ratio of filling to bread was perfect too. My mouth waters every time I think of the Riera’s Special. This is the place for an unforgettable Italian sandwich.
