I order a pick 2 items a salad and sandwich,to eat at the restaurant,waited for over 20 minutes went one time to check on my order they told me that they were behind I understood, time pass by again went for a second time,only this time the manager whose name was Adan or Adam was very rude he just look at me and told me that if I wanted a refund he could give a refund but his response was REALLY RUDE not for a person that is in charge of running this business.it was embarrassing because he did it in front of everyone.
Clean inside, open and spacious feeling. Way overpriced. No deviation orders. (We requested a plain chicken patty for the dogs.) Ohnno! It has to come with the bun. $12.99 for a plain chicken sandwich. Request for no potato chips. What do you think? Of course they gave us chips. Grilled cheese and thai chicken soup, $15.00. Small.cola, $3.00. Plain old orange American cheese. Again requested nno bread. But sure enough..like it or not, bread. With every item. Later, asked for a Togo box, the person behind the curtain points in a vague direction and says, "over there." Over where? Get your skinny behind over here and either bring one box with you or walk over and point them out to people over 40!
Attentive customer service. Great homie feeling. Good food, but a bit on the pricey side. Similar food & experience at Corner Bakery for Half the Price. But, if you live close by or it’s convenient. Definitely hearty food & a great experience. For me to spend 14$ on half a sandwich & a cup of soup is Insane. Beware, getting half a sandwich & cup of soup is not getting you a combo price, they will charge you the full price of half a sandwich which usually is around 7.79$ plus a cup of soup for 6$. You r better of buying a full sandwich for 10$ & adding a cup of soup =16$. So for 2$ extra Dollars you get a full sandwich & for 2$ extra dollars you can get a bowl of soup. I feel that 18$ for a full sandwich & a bowl of soup is still pricey compared to Corner Bakery, but fair. 14$ for half a sandwich & a cup of soup is just insane. At Corner Bakery that would be 7$. & don’t make me get started on their basic tiny half Chinese Salad for 8$. At least the French onion soup was DELICIOUS, so was the bbq sandwich.Their pastry, particularly the chocolate croissant, well priced & scrumptious. & 6 good hot tea options with honey under 3$ with refill.
Didn’t have baguettes or bread bowls, nothing. Staff is condescending. (First time here) We ordered to eat in and they didn’t say anything till we got our food and said they’re closing soon, in a sense feeling kicked out. Terrible experience.
I ordered on the app dine in and the app said we will bring it to your table, but I waited for 30 min and never got my ordered. I went to the counter only to see my food on the counter cold and god knows what. Poor management and people were rude literally teenagers working without proper training.
Employees should tell Customers when they are out of certain items. I ordered a bowl of soup then look in bag and have 2 small half-filled cups of soup. After picking up my order now they tell me they are out of bowl size cups. Spoke to manager who keeps saying the 2 small cups equal the bowl size. I asked can they fill up the 2 small cups they said no because that is giving me more soup.
Pretty much everything was sold out. The AC was extremely cold during winter and employees said they couldn't do anything about it.Our soup spoons had dry leftover food on them.Won't come back to this location.
It’s nice place to have flaming hot soups .It’s more like Indianised flavours .It’s great cozy place to have your good time with friends.The bread ? quality is good .Ambiance is good .You have to serve by yourself.
So . . . Apparently, doggos are allowed inside the restaurant. I'm not talking helping animals... I'm talking family pets.So, I'm wondering what the LA County Health Department might think.Mehaps I'll bring my doggo, as well --
