Worst steakhouse I’ve ever been to… my steak originally came out cold, then they took it back a reheated this $50.00 dish. Spoke to the manager and they asked.. What would you like me to do? Lol why are you asking the customer. You’re a manager, make a executive decision in best of the consumer’s interests. They offered 10% off the bill lol. However my waitress was phenomenal.
We ate here in early June and were looking forward to it. The USP of the place is its location which is great but that was where it ended for us. Its a shame because the place has great potential. The food was average at best and poor at worst, the service whilst polite was slow and inefficient with things missing and having to be requested repeatedly. Not sure if this is a problem with management, staff or training but whatever the underlying causes they are fixable with the right people, team and training. Overall a disappointing experience.
We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival. Food was delicious (grilled salmon with asparagus, brie with fresh apple slices, lemon drop martini) and greatly enjoyed as we listened to the sounds of the waves against the seashore. We bypassed dessert for a stroll along the boardwalk.
I have been coming here since 2012. The views can't be beat if you love being by the water. They have a great happy hour in the bar (which is where I usually sit for dinner). There is a lovely dining room and a patio which stretches over the water. The menu has gotten smaller since COVID, but there's something for everyone (great appetizers, pasta, fish, salad, kid options) There is ample parking (you have to pay a minimal fee to park in the adjoining structure). Take a nice walk by the water before or after your meal & see what wildlife you can spot (seals, dolphins, pelicans).
masked up we returned twice for lunch while visiting family...all the drinks/food was excellent....bree was the staffperson and she was great!...the outside tables are so relaxing, and the sun was so fine.....we had a lot of seafood.....be sure to tip big during the pandemic....
Caroline N is one of the best servers I've had in a while. She takes customer service to the next level it was outstanding. Also the menu was fire. There was not a single thing we ordered we didn't like. 100% would come back.
The Crab Artichoke dip was delicious and even better on their complimentary garlic bread. The Waygu was ok, a bit chewy for medium rare but still good. The Alfredo with shrimp was good too. The 'Old Fashion' was good and strong. The staff was friendly and I will be back!

A wonderful restaurant with a fantastic view. We like to enjoy our Sunsets so we reserved our table accordingly. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food is amazing. I had the 8oz filet mignon and the wife had salmon. We were both very satisfied. We split a key lime pie for dessert. I believe Kencaids makes the best Key Lime I have ever had. Better than what we find in the Florida keys. The experience is even better because they are part of the Landry's Rewards family of restaurants! If you are in Redondo, make sure you stop by Kencaids.
