Have to try Banana cream pie flavor! No more sampling available. They have cold treats for dogs. Can sit on the benches, tables & planters. Bring a light jacket it can get cold at this location even during the summer.

I have tasted many ice creams from different places but this has to be one of the best ice cream ever! I got the Oreo with Birthday Cake and it was amazing! I would recommend to get ice cream from here because it’s the best. You will love the ice cream and you will want to get more.
Enter weekday down in Southern California and one of the places I love to go to before I hit the beach is Handel's Ice Cream. Handmade ice cream in the family style, very large portions and the menu is phenomenal I think I counted over 33 different choices. Can highly recommend taking your family there a single cone runs $3 but on Tuesdays they have specials so aim for Tuesday
Handel's is a fantastic place for ice cream. They have a big menu of flavors and you can get your ice cream in a plastic container, bowl, or cone (this especially depends on what ice cream you order). If you get there early enough in the day, you have the potential to miss the line. When I stopped by with my family, we didn't have too long to wait, but after we received our cold treats, the line was exponentially long.
Go. Always. They're one of the few ice cream companies that can do a good pie crust simulation that works in ice cream without feeling soggy. My Japanese family friend is an ice cream connoisseur and she was QUITE happy with the quality, but disappointed that they rotate flavors and are not in Japan (yet?)

I love their cherry magnolia, vanilla caramel truffle, orange dream cream, praline pecan and many other flavors. They are the bomb ??

This little ice cream shop makes some of the best ice cream in SoCal. It's part of a chain of shops that each makes their own ice cream on site. My favorite flavors are the raspberry and the chocolate cake.
Always have to swing by when I come to California! Delicious ice cream and such a wide variety! Can't wait until I fly back out here next time for some more Handel's!
