My favorite local neighborhood BBQ restaurant recently changed ownership and management. The quality of the food has gone down the prices especially for the sides and the snacks have more than doubled and they have new deceptive menu boards. Ordered a loaded baked potato that on the board is pictured with nice thick bacon and lots of cheese. In reality what they served was a potato with very little cheese and prefab bacon crumbles that were completely tasteless. Asked for the manager's number to discuss this. Left a message and my call was never returned. Wouldn't waste my money coming here there's other much better barbecue places. Such a shame as this was convenient I liked the previous staff who went out of their way to make sure you had a good meal. All the previous staff were gone. The food was not worth the money paid and they should be fined for having picture representations of food that doesn't even come close to what they're serving. Also gone is the free soft serve ice cream machine that has been there for years.
The food was good, with the portions a little better than some in the chain. Some of the brisket was a little tough, but I think it was the way it was cut.
Worse bbq in the world!! It shouldn’t even be called bbq!! You will do better going to 7 11 for the food in the warmer
Not a lot of good barbecue options in Redondo Beach. This location was a little hard to find in this shopping plaza, but it's right next to Whole Foods. The guys working in there were friendly. We ordered some westerner sandwiches and they came out great. Meats were tasty. The rolls they gave us were a little off though.
I love coming back to this awesome place. I love their food, their beef brisket is so yummy & they have the most friendy staff. Come here in Redondo Beach & experience it yourself. ?
Pulled pork sandwich was good. All the sides were made hot! Sad to see the soft serve machine went away with covid.
Visited here last night and got an order to go. Cool little store in Redondo Beach. Bbq was good. No complaints.
This place is DELICIOUS!! The staff is super friendly and will guide you in the right direction for whatever you don't know you're in the mood for.
Originally came here for the big yellow cup promotion where you buy a big yellow cup and get a pulled pork sandwich for free. But apparently this store is a franchise store and doesn't honor that deal. I also ordered other items like the 3 meat plate and a kid's meal. Food was amazing and sides were great! Would eat again.
I was really impressed with the interaction with the staff when ordering. Upbeat and friendly to a fault. I went for the 2 meat special with the jalapeño kielbasa and pulled pork. The pork was a little dry and soaked up the spicy BBQ sauce like a vacuum. With out the sauce I found to pork a little bland lacking seasoning. The kielbasa I really enjoyed. Generous amounts f cheese stuffed in there and it was tender and yummy. The sides were 'okay'. I was excited about the jalapeño beans but I couldn't taste any jalapeño and nothing distinctive about the flavour. The coleslaw however was fresh and crunchy The roll was fresh and soft but the side of pickles, well I wouldn't call it a side. A couple of thin slices. One bite and they were gone. I think I would go back to try something else just based on the great feeling you get from the staff. The food, not so much.
