The first time I visited this fun place in Redondo Beach. A bit loud and even somewhat chaotic during the order process but this just added to the character of the place. I had a traditional fish and chips but their menu is extensive. If you are looking for a genuine seafood place for an informal meal, look no further.
If you’re looking for fresh fish, this is the place. There are other restaurants in the area that may have better atmosphere and fancier accommodations, but I doubt there are any that served better fish!!
What a great, fresh sandwich. You can’t go wrong with a sandwich here. Been many times and every time, it’s been amazing!Haven’t tried the whole menu but will be back to do so
Went to this wonderful restaurant today! Seafood is great! I bought a burger, they didn't give me more fries and a salad! Everything was very tasty and not expensive! There is a toilet, the toilet is clean. It's important for me. The staff is polite! I was also able to charge my electric scooter, there was a terrace and sockets outside. Thanks! I really enjoyed eating and spending time with you! I recommend everyone to visit!
Captain Kidd’s is more than food; it is a destination and an experience. We loved the freshness, friendliness and casual atmosphere. It’s a must if you’re in this area. Always busy expect long lines but they move fast. Know what you want. It is all great. I’ve enjoyed the crab cakes, lobster roll, sea bass and this time red snapper.
We enjoyed our fish and chips and the friendly staff. But we were horrified by the tons of rubbish generated by the disposable dishes. Everything comes in paper and plastic. As you are very popular, couldnt you afford to go back to proper china, cutelry and stuff? Thank you for your attention.
I really enjoy eating here. The food is fresh and filling but not heavy.
Very tasty Red Snapper Plater (Charbroiled , CK's Cajun Seasoning), with Macaroni Salad and Rice Pilaf. Great local place and friendly staff!
I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a kid in the early 80’s. While the food & atmosphere have always remained top notch…the service has fallen so sharply..&..we’ll before the pandemic had hit. My father doesn’t even make it out here anymore..&..as for myself, I’ve given it a few try’s the past year and sadly it’s just not worth my time or business any longer…?
