Fish & Chips is fresh and delicious
I recently moved to this neighborhood and had decided to try some of the local places and let me tell you, this place is awesome! The food is delicious better than is better than California fish grill .I ordered grilled tilapia with cajun garlic butter sauce on a bed of black peppercorn with a side French fries..They have many fish options, different options for sauces to go on your fish and many appetizers and sides.... It's a very good value for the money...
Good place to have some fish dishes! They also have a nice variety of side dishes to choose from! You rder at the counter & they bring your food to you. Be sure to ask for salsas which used to be available as self-service pre-COVID. I like their Wasabi Aioli & Habanero Salsa.
Generous portions, friendly helpful service. Nice informal dining establishment. My only complaint is food could have been a little bit warmer and I would have preferred to have the teriyaki sauce placed on the fish while on the grill. Will definitely request it meet time. BTW I had the wild coho salmon with potatoes and salad and hubby had the snapper with rice and broccoli. Both yummy.
Wish the clam chowder had a bread bowl option, but it was good. Maybe seemed like it came out of a can, but I liked the way it was chunky and full and not fishy tasting. Also had a Greek salad with chicken on top and it was DELICIOUS. Definitely will be back. Very cute vibe inside and really decked out for the Christmas holiday. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful.
This restaurant is superb. You can see and taste the quality of the ingredients and the care they put into every dish. We order for our office staff regularly and it hits a home run for everyone. There are few restaurants you can call out for a group order where everyone unanimously approves, Blue Salt is one of those spots. Thank you, please keep doing whatever magic you are doing.
Great food. They were wonderful, then the quality went down but they are back on top. The fisherman catch (basket) was absolutely delectable!! The service was fast and great staff?

This was my first time eating here but definitely not the last. I ordered the grill combo: pacific snapper with cajun garlic butter and sides of fries and coleslaw and a New England clam chowder (~$20). My was I surprised on the portion and taste...both outstanding. Typically, portions of a fish entree is small. However, that is not the case here at BlueSalt. I cannot speak to the other fishes but mine was plentiful. The size can be compared to one piece in Costco's fresh fish package. Although I would recommend the snapper with a different sauce, the Cajun garlic butter would go excellent with a fish that absorbs sauce well. Snapper seems to be too watery for such a sauce. But, it was still good. The fries and Cole slaw are also excellent as sides but filling.There is a lot for parking but quite busy with cars in and out. They have a small outdoors dining area directly in front of the restaurant. The interior is casual but with a hint of elegance. The decor adds style and vibe to it.
Returned to this lovely local eatery after 4 years. So glad the food is just as excellent as the last visit. Covid precautions prominently displayed. Excellent and fast service and very tasty shrimp taco platter.
Ahh, so good! The seafood is fresh,well prepared and delicious. The side dishes are great too (garlicky potatoes)
