I spent quite a bit of time with the family of my best friend, who is Chinese, growing up in New York. Eating home cooked Chinese food at his house, made me a pretty critical consumer. The food at Rui's is the real deal. It taste like home cooked Chinese food. Everything I have tried here is amazing. Be sure to check it out. You are in for a real treat.
Was pleasantly surprised at the freshness and tastiness of most of our food. Cashew nut chicken and young cho fried rice were very tasty. Vermicelli was a little spicy for my taste and the garlic ribs were a little bland and lacking garlic. Great customer service considering we came shortly before closing.
Very Good, Authentic Shanghai cuisine! Orange Chicken very good, tons of flavor, Shrimp Chop Suey with very fresh vegetables, light but lots of flavor sauce!
In the 5yrs I've lived in Redlands, first time eating at Rui's..... BEST Xiao Long Bao EVER (sry forgot to actually take a pic of it). The Shanghainese rice is really yummy too. Big variety menu. They do run out of certain dishes at certain times of the day. It is a pretty small restaurant to dine in but worth it. I'm only giving it a 4 star because I keep seeing the waitress grabbing the utensils by the parts you eat from instead of the handle.
Nice dishes! Pleasant service. Especially enjoyed the Beef Noodle Soup and Soup Dumplings. Would go again.
I love this place. The quality of the food is amazing. They have amazing soup dumplings. And their pineapple shrimp was great! The service is also very good. Comfortable place to dine in but no quality is lost if you take out. Love it.
This place smelled of old, rancid oil. I could not finish my meal, I had to leave immediately because of the absolute abomination of a stench radiating from the kitchen.I probably would have enjoyed this place if they didnt cook with old, rancid oil. I do not recommend this place if you are sensitive to bad smells.
Tried Rui's today.Braised beef noodle soup, excellent.Chicken wings, excellent.Thai tea, ok.Food came out nice and hot.Service was pretty good for as busy as it was.Will definitely go back to try more items.
Curry chicken Is absolutely fantastic. Literally have had it 3 days in a row. The sesame chicken..perfection. This is the place! Everything I've had is wonderful. 5 stars ? ? ? ? ?
The food was so good! We ordered take out and it was fast and delicious. We'll definitely make this place one of our regular destinations
