This is one of my all time favorite places in SoCal. I grew up in the area and since moving away, this is the only place that is a must at least once (or twice) during my visits. While the menu has expanded over the years - the Garbage Burrito is still wickedly delicious. Or if your vegetarian like me, get a BRC with lettuce & onions (& tomatoes). Basically it's the Garbage without meat. Dad is also. A gage fan of the Chile Rellano Burrito. Also: say yes to the hot sauce. It's homemade and delicious.
I've tried the Chile relleno which it really only is chicken in sauce, and the beef taco which really is just an americanized taco with a taco shell. The foods okay. I loved the Chile relleno burrito and the garbage burrito Soo good, I'm sure the other food is good too. I'm giving it 2 stars because of how coarse the girl on the cashier was, my husband had asked something in Spanish and she answered in English but with attitude didn't even bother to say I'm sorry I don't speak spanish. She replied with his question which was a long answer in English and really fast, not caring if he understood or not. She seemed like she hates her job. It's not the first time my husband said he had gone another time and she's replied the same way. I believe if it's a Mexican restaurant they should have someone in the front who speaks English and Spanish because yes we are in America but there are Hispanics and they should be able to get good customer service as well. The girl at the cashier was young, with glasses and didn't care to be helpful and seemed rude.
I have loved Rosa Maria's for 30 plus years. Today I was disappointed. The tortilla tasted store bought... I have more complaints but I love these people so I'm going to stop. Let's just say, I was disappointed with my burrito today.
It’s delicious food but the flour tortillas used for the burritos don’t taste authentic enough for the restaurant that they are. Another thing when we got home and opened our burritos they gave me someone else’s order. It was good food but I was disappointed that they did that.
XL Garbage burrito is bland. The tortilla was too thick. The salsa is very watery and flavorless.El burrito has better tortillas.Super Burrito has better tasting ingredients and salsa.
I have never been at this place but just looking at the pictures...NOOOP THANKS. I've been at the place right next to them, and as a reference to compare, Carolyn's cafe is a super white place and the food is more Mexican than ROSA MARIAS. HARD SHELL TACOS???? YELLOW CHEESE ON TOP OF FOOD. Have no idea what kind of food is that, but I'm sure is not mexican. In the entire menu they have only ONE Mexican plate
Rosa Maria’s has the best burritos anywhere. However, they are reckless in their Covid protocols. Every time I have entered this business, at least half of their customers are not wearing facemasks, despite the large sign on the door stating the mandate. This is not sometimes, but EVERY TIME I visit this store. I brought it to the lady’s attention at the counter and she just gave me a blank stare. Immediately after I mentioned this, yet another customer entered without a facemask and the lady behind the counter just shrugged. The owners of this business are putting their employees at great risk by not enforcing the state mandated masking policy. They are also putting their customers at risk. I love Rosa Maria’s burritos but am very disappointed in the owners’ carelessness during a worldwide health crisis with a highly contagious and rampant Covid variant. Shame on you, the owners of Rosa Marias : (
In Redlands for five days, had Rosa Maria's 3 times! As always the food was great, love the Chile reallano burrito, but like all their food, would I do this again? You bet
In town for a long weekend. I used to live in the area and remembered them. It is just as good as I remember. The chili verde is incredible. I’ll come here at least one more time before heading home.
A several location, family run business. The quality is consistent at all the locations. Our favorite is the Garbage Burrito, available in 3 sizes- beans, rice, super tender pork, cheese, tomato, lettuce, add the guac, and their ? hot sauce.
