This restaurant has the worst service. We arrived with our reservation but were unable to be seated. They were short staffed, and the workers present seemed tired and irritable. We proceeded to the almost empty bar to have a drink while we waited for our table only to have three different people pass by (including the bartender), none of whom gave us so much as a glance. When we were finally greeted, it was not friendly and gave us the vibe that they were doing us a favor by talking to us as opposed to making us feel like our patronage was welcome. We wound up leaving without dining there, along with another group who arrived before us and also looked displeased. Management needs to do something about the staffing and culture in this restaurant as I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as it is now.
Second time we have been there. The management seems very disorganized. What time do you were there if they didnât have things on the menu that we ordered. The waitress was absolutely incredible. The food was excellent. But youâve got to get your act together as far as management of the place.
Went in on Father's Day/ My husband's birthday (wasn't crazy busy) was seated in the bar area.. no problem. Our waitress was Coral. Got our drinks pretty quickly and then nothing. The girl who sat us noticed that we had been sitting there for awhile and was nice enough to give us our bread. It took so long to place our order. We ordered an appetizer plus our food at the same time... It took about 30 minutes to get our appetizer and then it took about another 40 minutes to get our actual dinner. By the time we got our dinner we were only able to eat a little bit and had to get to go boxes, since it was getting late and had to hurry home and go to bed for work the next day. Not sure if they were just short on staff or what but it was a frustrating experience.
My wifeâs salad was old and brown, requested a well done hot chicken breast on her salad and it wasnât well done and it was cold. Sent it back and wife lost her appetite and didnât eat. My salmon was good. Waiter was great and very understanding.
I used to really like Macaroni Grill. This particular location in Redlands just got their third strike visit. I would give them zero stars if that was possible. Took forever to get get our food in an almost empty restaurant. There were four in our party. My food must have been sitting in the pass for a long time because it was completely cold. Had to beg for refills on water or tea. I didn't dare send it back because took so long to get our food in the first place. This is the third time this has happened at this location. The management is terrible and they really don't care. We had one experience where the lady next to us slipped on the floor and hit her head. Instead of moving us they left the big puddle of blood on the floor next to us and then later came in and mopped it up with bleach. It wasn't the lady's fault at all but just an example of how lousy the management is at this location. I will drive a lot further than go to this location again. We are very patient and tolerant, which is why we went back, but never again!!!!
Service was awful. Took 30mins to get drinks. 2hrs to get main course. Waitress was sweet but the time waiting was frustrating.
This place has issues. I had read similar reviews regarding this location but thought I would still give it a true. They are definitely short people and the food quality/taste isn’t worth the experience.
