Ordered the house chow mein. The meat and the chow mein didn't taste fresh it tasted old and like it was frozen prior to cooking. Way overpriced in my opinion $3+ for a small soda is just ridiculous. sweet and sour chicken is okay and so are the egg rolls. They served it way too hot and didn't even warn us.almost burned my mouth I had to spit it out.probably won't come back
Got take-out dinner as a thank you to a friend, I feel so bad. His orange chicken had no meat in the fried coating, the sauce was not enough to coat 75% or the pieces, the fried rice had the aftertaste of burnt oil. My fiancee got the shrimp fried rice, there was enough shrimp too bad it was covered in "gravel hard" and unsalted rice bits. Finally the fortune cookies featured a classic fortune on one side of the paper and the other had a ZipRecruiter Qr code...no I'm not joking.
We love Open Kitchen. Been eating their food since the late 90's on Orange, followed them when they moved to Alabama and Barton, longed for it when I moved away, will always come back.
First time at this Restaurant & the food was Excellent!! Nice to sit in their very clean Restaurant.
Although the flavor and prices were great, something a waitress did twice warrants me not to return.

Food is always good staff is always real friendly. I always leave here satisfied. If your tired wasting money on Chinese fast food come here you won't go back. And they only took 5 min to make all this food.
Best Chinese food in Redlands. Not the only one, but it's the best. Always consistent and reasonably priced. Very good food and open when others are not. We've been to all of them and this is the best.
Been going to them for 20+years since before they moved from orange st never had a bad meal there whole family loves it prices are good fast service pretty much the same staff
