The chicken marsala was not what I would recommend..it's a flatten piece of chicken that tastes like a Swanson TV dinner...it was not fresh made.I would stake my reputation on it as a chef myself. The servers a more abrupt than professional, reaching across a person's face or body to serve. For the ravings I was told of this place, I was not impressed. The lasagna was flavourful, and the pasta primavera prepared properly.
Positively sensational.Maybe the best restaurant for 50 miles, easily the best Italian restaurant in San Bernardino County.A fantastic staff, gorgeous decor, reasonable pricing, and food that is to die for. Cannot recommend them highly enough.
The food at Isabella’s is amazing and I have been a long time customer. Honestly, I give the food a 5. But the service has been inconsistent. Tonight sealed the deal for me, hence why I am writing the review. Their closing time is posted as 8:30 pm. We arrived at 7:30 pm with a party of 7, only to be told they had closed. We inquired as to what time they close? The answer we received is “it’s different every night, when we slow down we close” WHAT???? Then I asked if they would please seat us as there were a few tables still starting their meal. They went back and asked the owner as she said NO! My daughter is home on spring break and we made group plans to go to her favorite restaurant. Will I go back, yes , but it’s such a big gamble for the owner as many people would not. When owners make this type of decision they may be saving money in the short run but losing in the long run as they could have lost loyal customers. Tonight’s bill for the 7 at a different restaurant was $520. The manager at Isabella’s turned away at least that much if not more as we ended up at a less expensive restaurant. This is just not how to treat clients or build a business. I hope Isabella’s changes their policy and just posts a clear closing time.
Excellent, food prepared fresh on the premises by wonderful owner,Chef. Martene. Service Excellent. Have had many large family/friend dinners there.
We have been going to Isabella’s since they had their restaurant in Corona. It’s a must stop every time in Redlands.
Slow service, mediocre food, poor wine options, paper thin veal. Not worth the price point. Pasta sauce basic tomato, no substance.
Really quiet romantic like yet the prices are very up there. Service was decent.
Excellent food, nice atmosphere.
Small portions served on our dining experience, all the pasta was Super Al Dente, ((Hard), for the price of $25 for spaghetti , I do not recommend this place, their eggplant dish, I got more cheese than egg plant with a flavorless tomato sauce, I grew up in old Italian Fontana.. this place is definitely no “BONOS”, now that’s Italian!!Oh yeah!! They charged me a fee to pay with my CC, they wanted cash $200, who carries this around as spare pocket change?? Oh yeah the capos.. unf***ing believable. Good way to launder.
Isabella is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to, and the price point is excellent with great service.
