El Burrito always a great place to grab great tasting food. They make their fresh flour tortillas on site. They have a traditional Mexican food menu. The food comes out very quickly. The ladies are friendly and courteous. Parking in front of their restaurant is small and tight .They only have 6 spaces . But they have more spaces in the back of restaurant. They also have seating in back . So so sorry I was starving forgot to take pictures ?.
Have been enjoying "El Burrito", my whole life, 50 years. Originally in either Colton, San Bernadino, or Highland ?? can't remember, but my parents enjoyed it since the early sixty's, separately, then as husband and wife. They would "cruise" the area, then hang out enjoying burritos and "adult beverage's" with friends and family. Kinda became a tradition as well, for my siblings and I, if close by, our parents would get us all food, and share fun/crazy memories ?. I introduced my wife 24 years ago, to "El Burrito", and 2 kids later, they enjoy it as well!! They've kept it simple, authentic, homemade, made to order, and "catered" to the "every-man", and because such,...They are a treasure, amongst wannabe "taco stands". How else could you have lasted, decade, after decade, after decade?? The best way to sum up my opinion, review, rating, feelings, of "El Burrito"........is the end of the movie "Ratatouille", when the food critic, taste the simple, "peasant" dish, made up of simple vegetables/seasonings, and instantly transformed back to his childhood, and his mama making him that dish, on a cold rainy day, ?, that's what I feel, as I delve into that delicious tortilla wrapped goodness!! The complete essence of "comfort food"!! My mama, has been gone for 19 years ?, but I sure can "transform" back, all those years, and remember sitting in her lap, listening to her stories, with such fondness ?, and enjoying an unbelievably simple pleasure in life, food+family =love!! Thank you, "El Burrito", for the food and memories, Paul A. Trujillo.
Very friendly ladies working at this hidden lil gem of a spot. Its been there since 1957 cooking up some great food. I got the Garbage ? Burrito with the Chili Verde. It was very big and very good ?. Got a Jaimica to drink. All in all it hit the spot.
You get what you pay for, and it is worth it.Edit: I say that like it’s a bad thing. What I really mean is that this place will give you the best value for your buck. You want a good burrito? This’ll be the best burrito you’ve had in a long time! Lest you’ve gone to a place of higher quality, which is even harder to find. They just know how to do it man. Hand made tortillas, mexican rice that makes yo mama jealous, and just downright good meat.A home experience for sure.Highly recommend.
One star if that. Your food is tasteless. I ordered two chicken tacos, got one with some pate looking paste inside of it. Where was the chicken? This is NOT authentic Mexicano food its processed yuk. You should be ashamed of yourself. Won't go there again.
the homemade tortilla was excellent, however. the chili Verde was bland, you couldn't even tell it was chili vetde. the salsa used to be my favorite now it taste as if has been in an unclean refrigerator
Great food, excellent service. Salsa is not hot and too watery, but they do have jalapeños ? and the prices on point
Quick service, reasonable prices for a great vegetarian burrito in a nice tortilla, which looks to be made in-house. Parking in the front is tight but usually there is a spot or two open around back. Plenty of out door seating options that all have umbrellas or shading. No breakfast burritos are available, unfortunately.
Homemade tortillas, fast and hot. I never knew a hamburger burrito was this good. Would have been 5 stars but the hot sauce needs help
Great Mexican food from the salsa to the guacamole to the homemade tortillas (my personal favorite) anything you order here is amazing! Been coming here over a decade, and now that I live in sf area, anytime I drive by to visit family we HAVE to stop here!
