Doing a short cut on New Jersey st. To my surprise there's a Deli on the corner.Owner was very helpful. Suggested Mediterranean wrap. I added avocado, and a bag of chips.I'm rating it a 5. Why not stop in and order your meal.Tell them Joe sent you.... they will say Joe Who... that's me ?
Their 1/2 sandwich and salad deal is great. Also had the chicken pesto panini that I would highly recommend
Usually amazing service.I was 5 minutes early for my order. I understand lunch time is a busy hour. I arrived and asked kindly for my order , usually I wait in my car, but I didn’t get a link to check in. I was told it wasn’t ready which is fine. I took a seat and waited. But I do not appreciate my bag with food tossed on a cart. Then when I go to say thank you I get a “yeah thanks.”
Good food, though if you don’t give them a tip, it’ll take over 20 min for your order to be ready. Be advised.
Today was my first time at the deli on the corner and I was blown away by how I always passed by and didn't know what it was! I was so excited when I walked in and saw how nice and FRESH!!! the food looks, my sandwich WAS AMAZING! And I enjoyed the atmosphere, the counter staff and did I mention that the sandwich ? was AMAZING ??? well I guess this is my new go-to for great salads and sandwiches
Great selection of salads, paninis, wraps! Everything tasted delicious and there were sizable portions. Nice indoor/outdoor seating. We wished the salads were tossed as it’s a pain to try and mix everything in. Also, it felt like we were creating so much waste with the plastic togo boxes. Hopefully they can develop a dine-in option with reusable plates and utensils.
I would have given 5 stars to this place but they didn't even give me a chance to help me order anything. All employees were minding there own business and not even acknowledging i was there, not even telling me " I will be with you in a few minutes." Is that so much to say? Just a second of there busy schedule to help a customer.I do not know who trained this employees but there customer service was not professional.I will not be going there again.
The food is superior. Very fresh and delicious. The custom salads are amazing. The soups and chili’s too. It’s a bit pricey but the quality and quantity is worth it. The portions are huge. The ambiance is really nice too and there’s both indoor and outdoor seating. I have been there five times. My only complaint is that on all five occasions not even one employee was friendly. Not one. Nobody smiled. They all looked miserable. I asked if the soup had cream in it and the cashier said I don’t know with a blank look. I asked if she could find out but it seemed like an inconvenience. It’s a shame because other than that they’re five star. So if you don’t mind lots of grumpy frowns it’s a great place.
I've never been too keen on open food containers but now that the young people preparing food are laughing and joking without masks on (okay, one girl had her mask on down on her chin) - and we know their spittle is flying all over everything - I can't eat here.
Everything I've had there has been very good.
