So happy to discover this hidden gem in plain sight that I’ve passed hundreds of times and never realized it was here! This is a beautiful, quaint restaurant with an amazing wine list, impeccable service, and food that made me feel like I was traveling abroad! ? I cannot wait to visit again and try more items and wines (of course) on the menu!! ?? Brandon, the owner and our server, Kimberly were absolutely amazing!! Thank you Jennifer L. Collins for the recommendation!! ???
My review of Cítrone is ? ? ? ? ?Charmed from the minute I entered. The Host Lauryn gives such a nice warm welcome, and my server Emily is the gold standard. Ethan will make your reservation complete. The vibe here is spectacular -- high ceiling and glass, lighting targeted for best of ambience and stylish comfort. Lovely in both comfortable seating and background music. Decor is fresh and clean and classy bistro style. Who doesn't love fresh flowers on the table? There are exposed brick walls and a tin ceiling with decorative pipe vents that are also practical and secretly provide subtle heating and A/C. The restaurant takes you away to a far off destination. The point of being here is the food and drink. Dining alone, I was thrilled to first see numerous half bottles on the menu of wonderful wines, both local and imported. I like 2 glasses with dinner, so these are a blessing to have a freshly opened bottle to enjoy instead of the "only by-the-glass or a full bottle" offerings found in most other restaurants. I chose the 1/2 bottle of a sumptuous Brunello and the house Cioppino which made my evening. I finished with a delicious slice of olive oil cake and Graham's 20-yr. Old Tawny Port. While here, I made another dinner reservation for their next day of service just to confirm then that tonight wasn't just a dream.
Save your money. Way over priced for average food. All our plates we re too over powering, too sweet, too acidic, too much rosemary, too much flour in peppercorn sauce. Its like the chef doesn't know when to stop. Olive and citrus restaurant is a better choice if you like flver done right
I really liked their French style dishes! Scallops, crab-cakes, Filet mignoneGorgonzola pasta, deserts. Everything was perfect. I especially liked Scallops. That’s awesome. It was my birthday. Thank you for the heartwarming postcard. I appreciate our beautiful server and all the staff worked on Christmas Eve.
Wonderful experience celebrating my anniversary with my husband. The food was delicious and our server was so helpful and nice. Love this restaurant.
Excellent continental cuisine in a beautiful repurposed historical building. The crab cakes were delicious, beet salad was fantastic and the bass was perfectly prepared. Great wine list, also enjoyed a wonderful titos martini. Highly recommended for a special dinner out.

Service, food, and overall experience were the best I've had in many years. The owner clearly cares about his employees and patrons - he was actively washing dishes in the back (rare to see an owner that involved) and came out just to say thank you for my military service and for visiting from out of state. This will now be my go to restaurant while in California.
excellent staff and service!
I don't hand out 5 star reviews often and this time I'd give 6 stars if possible to Citrone in Redlands. Last night's dinner was exceptional and the service was stupendous. The ambiance inside is cozy and intimate with an open kitchen in view. I specifically chose Citrone last night to try the veal chop I saw featured on Yelp. Once seated I learned from my server that the veal chop is no longer on the dinner menu and is offered as a special on select nights, and tonight was not one of those nights. My heart sank as I looked over the menu for an alternative. While I trying to decide, a gentleman named Brandon stopped by my table to welcome me to restaurant. I shared my reasoning for visiting, a special celebration, and my heavy-heartedness that the one item I came for was no longer available. With a smile Brandon told me he'd be right back. After a moment he returned to tell me that he had two veal chops, one was spoken for, and the other was available for me. I was thrilled at this news and thanked him profusely. He went above and beyond to make my special night memorable. My dinner consisted of a scallop appetizer served with corn, duck a l'orange, and the superb veal chop with risotto. The scallops were lovely and deliciously light. The flavor and seasoning were exactly what you'd expect from a reputable restaurant. The duck had a savory, crispy skin with succulent, tender meat inside without any gaminess. Lastly, the veal with risotto was one of the most memorable dishes I've ever had. The meat exploded with flavor and decadence. It was juicy and tender like no other meat I've had. The risotto was creamy and buttery and topped with mouthwatering mushrooms. It was so satisfying it could have been an entrée all on its own.In my usual fashion, I concluded my meal with a vanilla bean cheesecake that was airy and light while still having substance. Truly delightful. This evening, there were no leftovers. I joyfully cleared my plates and plan to do it again soon! Bravo Citrone ?For more food reviews and pictures follow me on Instagram @Aimee.Eats_
