Not authentic Mexican food, little disappointing. Little on the white washed side, the Chile verde tasted like they bought the sauce from Stater Bros and simply poured it on the meat and the rice wasn’t all that. The waitress was overwhelmed with our party of 10, she kept forgetting our meals and got them mixed up, I would’ve rated this a 1 but I can respect that she’s working on a Saturday morning Vs having fun as she looks fresh out of high school.
TL;DR - Good food. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Cozy vibe.One of my favorite breakfast spots in Redlands! I've never had to wait to be seated and the one time I waited, it was because they were cleaning off the table. The food comes out of the kitchen in a timely manner and I am always satisfied.Their price point is at or under IHOP and Cheliz food is always made with Love. I almost always get biscuits and gravy with my breakfast. The staff is always very attentive and the environment is clean and cozy.
The best skillet chicken fried steak I have ever eaten and I am very picky. I make all homemade food.and do not do fast food at all. Beyond delicious and amazing service, as a lover at food, and lover to cooking,and flavor thank you all cooks and staff at cheliz you deserve every star and more in my opinion AWSOME blast of tastebudds....

Nice little hidden gem in an unassuming marketplace. I've only ever been there for breakfast, but they are open thru lunch. The coffee is good, the food is really good. Hearty portions and priced well. The staff is always super friendly and they work well together. Definitely worth a visit.

I love eating at Cheliz. Food is yummy, customer service is phenomenal, and the price point is affordable! Here is a photo of my favorite breakfast meal at Cheliz. It's not on the menu; 2 eggs over medium, country potatoes, no meat, a side of rye bread, side of green salsa, and cup of black coffee no creamer. 10/10 recommend ??

Service was great & the restaurant was clean the food was ok but nothing real spectacular it wasnt bad either.Try you may like it
I got the Cheliz omelet(which was great) and the wife got Chile Chilaques which she said was just all right. Great atmosphere and everyone in the place was nice.
