Absolutely love this place! Great food and always great customer service & the best coffee cake ever!
Excellent service from friendly staff! Food was amazing and very filling! A must stop if you've never been before!
This spot gets busy fast! I highly recommend getting on their yelp wait-list beforehand.I got the biscuits Benedict! The poached eggs were lovely, the biscuits light and fluffy, the star of the show, for me, were the sausage patties! They're more spiced than the average breakfast sausage and I really liked that! My portion was too big for me to eat in one sitting. But my husband's...He got the California scrambler, they said the portion is 3 eggs but it came out looking really small. Your mileage may vary, but it wasn't a lot of food when we were there.Overall, it's worth giving it a try! I almost forgot, the coffee cake is really good! Kinda wish I got my own instead of sharing lol
The staff was incredible and the portions were huge! There is always a long line because this breakfast / brunch spot is off the chain as the youths say these days.
Located on Brookside Avenue a couple miles south of Interstate 10, Carolyn’s Café is a casual eatery offering breakfast and lunch. My wife and I were headed out on a road trip through the California and Arizona deserts and were searching for a spot for a good breakfast; we’re glad we found Carolyn’s. NOTE that this is a very popular dining spot, especially for breakfast. If you are planning to visit at a peak hour, you may want to put your name on their waiting list via Yelp before you leave. One of their breakfast specialties are “scramblers,” so I decided on a Polish Scrambler; any of their scramblers can be also be made as omelets, and my wife opted for a California Omelet. Both dishes were flavorful, well-prepared and very filling. We didn’t order their famous coffee cake (although it looked amazing) because we didn’t want to induce a food coma while I was driving. The service was friendly, the prices were fair and given how busy it was, the dining room and restroom were pretty clean. We continued on our road trip feeling quite satisfied with our experience at Carolyn’s Café.
Loved this place. I decided to go here on Presidents Day, and let me tell you it was packed. Thankfully since I went by myself I got a seat at the bar in about 10 minutes. I ordered a coffee and eggs Benedict. The coffee was delicious and the staff were on their toes about refilling your coffee without having to ask them to come over, so that level of attentiveness was great. Eggs Benedict came out and let me say it was delicious. The potatoes were not undercooked, they were properly seasoned and included peppers and onions. I left stuffed and I can certainly see why it was so packed when I got there, I'll be back!
Really popular breakfast place, be prepared to wait. Loved their coffee cake, it was moist and slightly fluffy (not too dense) Really nice staff, quick at coming around for coffee refills. They have outside seating
I absolutely love Carolyn's! The coffee cake alone is worth the trip. I cannot begin to describe the great flavor of the cake. Everything I've ordered has been top notch and delicious. If you want a table, get there early as they are extremely popular. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
