Hole in the wall gourmet pizza meets mind-blown coffee and dessert hangout spot. What time of day doesn't work to come here and enjoy? The only thing better than food and coffee is the staff. 100% all around.Ron Swanson and Blazing Saddles pizza is not to be missed.Their espresso shots and orange chocolate scones are golden.
Oh James Whittle get over yourself, no one cares about your input. If we wanted an opinion much like the one you described in the review we would’ve had you squeeze your smooth brained head. Get off your high horse the pizza is always delicious and yes they take their time. Only when they’re rushed by harlequins such as yourself who ask in a passive aggressive manner if their name has been called and then proceed to rush them do they mess up because of impatience and them wanting todo as the customer asks. Pizza, food and drinks are great guys keep up the great service.
We moved here a year ago and were excited to have found a delicious pizza place really close by. Only difference was these were individual pizzas, which we enjoyed. The first few times we ordered were fantastic, since then we've ordered a lot less because the bottom is always burnt, the top is undercooked, and I feel like the sauce has changed? We've tried a few more times to see maybe we just caught them on a bad day but have seen no improvement. They've always been friendly and we'd go back for the desserts or drinks, but sadly not for the pizza. (Reviewing because our pizza arrived the same way today and was cold again.)
I prefer tea over coffee, and the selection here is lackluster. They are frequently out of basic black teas (Earl Gray or Irish Breakfast). Waited 20 minutes for a plain bagel. They are good if you just want coffee, but if you're interested in breakfast or other drinks there are far better options. They do have excellent pizza, but you must be patient because they cook them in small batches.
This was such a cute place to sit down and take a break. The staff were super friendly, and I loved the pizza and scone I got. The atmosphere is warm and cozy; perfect for a meeting up with my mentor and reading a book. I will definitely be coming back here!
My friend raved about Bricks and Birch, so I was happy we could visit for a meal. They weren't crowded at all mid-afternoon on a Sunday. They have an extensive pizza menu with options for any dietary need. They also have a nice dessert case. Our order was taken quickly, and we walked around town while the pizza baked. When we came back about 20 minutes later, our pizzas were ready.Overall, the taste was ok. I had a vegetable pizza and should have checked if they used red peppers, as I don't like them. The center of the pizza was under baked, and the bottom was mostly burnt. I may visit again and try something else. I'll be sure to ask about the ingredients, though.
What an awesome place to get some terrific vegan pastries, the pumpkin bread was phenomenal, I also had the Thai pie which was an interesting option for a pizza, bean sprouts and carrots with a peanut sauce. Most definitely a unique place. I would recommend it to anyone and will be back when ever I am in the area. The men's bathroom also had a kool painting on the wall of a tripped out deer ? that looked like an Alien ?
We ordered online and they were running behind so we had to wait 30 minutes for our pizzas. We ordered 3 and they were baking them one at a time. By the time the last one came out the first two had been sitting. They were all three under baked and poorly topped. Now we're waiting again for our oven to heat up so we can finish baking these pizzas. All in all a terrible experience.
Good food. I've eaten there dozens of times. With new ownership some recipes have changed slightly. I ordered the ricotta butternut pizza, which I love. Now the sauce is spicier than I like, although if you like spicy food, you might like it better than the previous iteration.
This trendy corner spot is one of our go-to spots for woodfire oven pizza. Yes: We will drive the 25 minutes to get here. Coffee, sweet treats, and friendly staff are lovely, too.
