I order a super quesadilla, waitress brings me a regular chicken quesadilla. When I tell her I ordered a super quesadilla, she says let me see your receipt (she took my order & payment, don't know why she needed to see my receipt). She then tells me she will bring me the missing ingredients and I can make my own quesadilla. I hand her the quesadilla and say, "no, I would like the super quesadilla please". Moments later she hands me back a quesadilla with a enough lettuce added to make a salad, as well as some sour cream. No guacamole, no salsa. My quesadilla was hardly "super". Only my 2nd time coming here.... and my last.

Best Taqueria in all Shasta county Best Carnitas in town

Fast courteous service. The Dining area is small out front and large in back. There is a delicious array of Salsas, and chips. It would have been better if the chips were warm.I had two Carne Asada tacos with rice and beans. It was good and filling, but the carne asada was lacking in flavor.

There was a mountain of sour cream on my chorizo fries . I could hardly see the fries or chorizo with the ocean of sour cream. Sure, I asked for extra sour cream, but I didn't asked to be drowned in it. After I removed the sour cream the chorizo was nice, so that's why I didn't give it one star. But the fries were so soggy that it just wasn't an enjoyable experience.

Lunch time is to busy for me food is ok about the same as all the other Mexican food in town not great but good

Found this gem of a place during a road trip. Authentic Mexican food that is super tasty, juicy and fulfilling. The complimentary chips & salsa bar was nice. The staff was very friendly. I will make it a point everytime I travel up that way to stop for a meal.

Worst fish taco I have ever tried. It was inedible. The fish they used was small bits of flaked fish pieces (the size of flaked tuna) with a foul, fishy taste. I left it behind and had a piece of my husband’s burrito instead. The burrito wasn’t bad, the salsa at the salsa bar was pretty good. The customer service left much to be desired, the gal at the register seemed to lack a bit of common sense. While actively taking our order, she abruptly turned to another person and began speaking, then asked us to repeat our order. Not a huge deal, but it was odd and not really not polite. Also, they try to charge a fee for using a debit card, which is a prohibited practice by Visa, who issues the cards (and yes, I have already made an online report to Visa which includes a photo of the restaurant’s signage).

This is truly greatly made food for anyone who loves great Mexican food, come through Redding and get some for yourself and for your family

Used to eat here years ago, always enjoyed their lengua burritos, shredded pork Tacos, and fresh chips. Today the lengua. Much later the Tacos.Greatly appreciated the lengua burrito today.Packed full of meat and muy delicioso. Rich, flavorful, and the guac sauce was most excellent. Chips are fresh and the salsa is some of my favorite.

I was delivering for DoorDash was not a patron. However, this restaurant is highly recommended. Every customer Ive delivered to says they are the best mexican food in town. Second best??? Customers recommend Raliberto's on the corner of California and Placer Street.
