I meet her frequently with my old lady neighbors. We eat dinner at 4pm. I told you they were old.Great food, great service. I have had the Monte Cristo, french dip, chicken fried steak, chicken thighs, fish/chips, shrimp. All the meals were amazing and I take home the blackberry cobbler to eat without being embarrassed by the blue tongue or seeds in my teeth since it real.
This place was so great! We were hesitant at most of the other restaurants in Redding but Sweetys is definitely a hidden gem. Our food came out quickly and it was beautiful and delicious. I got the corned beef hash with sweet potato fries, and it was all clearly homemade. We also tried their oatmeal and biscuits, all of which were delicious. The iced tea is some of the best I’ve had, and the service was very good.
My husband and I went to have dinner and let me tell you we weren't disappointed. The waitresses are all so friendly and provide a very nice atmosphere. The food is home cooked with a lot of flavor. We will definitely be eating here again!!!
Good food and great service! Samantha was a fantastic server! I had an omelet with Sausage links and enjoyed it.
I NEGLECTED TO TALLY UP THE FINAL AMOUNT AFTER TIP... LESSON LEARNED. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE OR THE WAITRESS WILL ADD TO IT AND INCREASE HER TIP. THE OWNERS WANT TO CLAIM THAT I MADE A MATHEMATICAL ERROR WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NOT THE CASE..... LESSON LEARNED, BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD AND DISHONEST PEOPLE!!!! SERIOUSLY WHY WOULD ANYONE LEAVE A 14.00 TIP FOR A $32.00 BILL, UNLESS THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING, WHICH WAS NOT THE CASE. THE FOOD WAS DISGUSTING, AND WE SHOULD NOT HAVE LEFT ANY TOP AT ALL, BUT AN ALMOST 50%TIP?? I THINK NOT. SMHWe went to SWEETIES for breakfast recently. When I was going through my bank statement I noticed the charges were incorrect. I called the restaurant and got a copy of our receipt which showed the waitress had changed the tip!!!! She helped herself to an extra 10.00!!!! This is very disturbing and dishonest. Make sure you tally up the bottom and check your bank statement. I have a copy of the Receipt to show the change that was made. I just can't attach it. As far as the service it was poor. The steak was tough as a boot and the Chile Verde was sour and made me ???
Who would have thought? Had lunch at Sweetie's yesterday. Excellent food and service! Had it not been for several people and word of mouth would never have stopped in. Glad I did and definitely recommend! Deep fried Chile Rellenos, excellent!
I sure enjoyed the family-like service that we received at Sweetie's Cafe!!The food was just absolutely delicious. I asked my server what her favorite meal was, and ordered that! I often use that technique when visiting restaurants/bistros/ FOODIE PLACES ??? ??, that I've never visited before, and it 98% always works out great! ?Anyhow, the food was great! I was happy to see how seriously this cute little boutique restaurant was adhering to all cleanliness protocols! Nice!And our server, , she was Fabulous!!!! Never an iced tea ran dry, another side of ranch was always just a step away.... it was such great service that I felt the tip we left reflected our amazing meal and over all lovely visit ! And felt safe and cootie-free ??, the entire time

Very delicious meal! With great service. Eggs Benedict was super yummy, I had the classic and my boyfriend had the pork chop version. We both loved them!! Can’t go wrong especially with some mimosas. And I love that they have bacon gravy. New favorite breakfast place.
Not sure if they had a new cook or who was working went October 30th 2021 and my French toast I ordered was clearly cooked in bacon grease. Wanted to throw up…
