Me and my family celebrated my son's birthday here last night 6/3/22 the place was busy many large parties. But the staff was awesome. The hostess with the glasses was super nice and got us a table right away. And our server was awesome too. He was super nice and interacted with the kids and even when there was a mess up on my food and I couldn't eat it due to allergies they were quick to make it right A man in a red shirt who I'm assuming was one of the managers came up and apologized and took care of us without us even asking. This is the kind of service I look for and will keep us going here over places like Applebee's which is sub par.10/10 would recommend and they even sang for my son (the third birthday that night since we got there) which he loved thank you too the staff and cooks you guys were awesome.
The service today, 5/29/22, was amazing. The servers were on the ball, very friendly, and quite helpful. The food was good and we were glad to have chosen to eat here.Compared to a few other Red Robin locations I've visited, this was my favorite.
The place was clean and the service was wonderful. That's three stars. The prices were not equal to the quality of the food. In fact, I can, and have had better $3 cheeseburgers at several fastfood establishments. I ordered the Banzai Burger, a teriyaki glazed patty with grilled pineapple, and the usual fixin's. Much to my dismay, it was awful. Let's begin on the outside and head inward, in a step-by-step dissection of this "burger". The bun was cool and stale, so stale that it absorbed every drop of saliva I had in the first bite, it had a small blob of mayo, which the bun had also engulfed somehow, even with it's thick gelatinous consistency, it just absorbed it. The seeds were not hard but that strange chewy texture, like tiny bits of fiberous vegetable you just can't seem to chew through so you end up swallowing it as is. The lettuce was rusty and wilted, yet ice cold to the touch, I'd assume it got chopped a day or so earlier and pushed too far back in the cooler, freezing and wilting it. The tomatoes were somehow dry but ice cold and moist, not wet or damp like a tomato is, but if you touched it it felt like it would be wet, but your fingers were still dry. The pineapple had perfect grill marks yet it was just as translucent yellow and firm as it just came out of the can, not a single indication it had ever encountered any form of heat, it wasn't a degree passed room temp. Next we have the patty. Most confusing of all. The top was perfectly cooked, the cheese was melted, not burned, the patty was brown and cooked thoroughly, but the bottom was charred black and bitter from burned char, which overpowered all the other flavors sadly, since the rest of it looked and smelled delicious. The bottom bun was a stale puck that you couldn't squish or tear, when I folded it, it cracked apart from being dry, even soaked in grease, it wasn't pliable...We also had onion rings which were fried to perfection, the fries were outstanding, the service was wonderful, the atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean. This affords the location 3 stars. A fourth star would have been earned from the food. A fifth from an outstanding experience. This was my very first experience to a Red Robin, after all the commercials and suggestions from friends and family, I finally tried it, and I am so disappointed in the burgers, the one thing this restaurant chain is most famous for, is the weakest point at this particular location. My partners burger had little difference, she had a different kind of burger, but the same issues, with one more (which I was severely upset about). The plank pickles on her burger were diced nubs of plank pickles. I will be posting the picture of this with my review, as I find it that heinously disturbing. I LOVE pickles, I don't like them, I LOVE them, she does not, Everytime she gets something with pickles, I look forward to her sending them my way, when I saw these, AFTER reading "our house made plank dill pickles..." I nearly shed a tear. This is absolutely unacceptable. (You might be laughing, I am too, but I'm serious, it's not ok, it's just wrong).
If I could rate zero I would. Ordered online. Waited 20 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready and inquired several times. No order. Asked for our money back and manager tells us it’s not their problem but they have our order. Then lied to us by saying it had been on the pass for 10 minutes. It was actually 33 minutes according to the ticket and our picture of the actual time. Food is cold and soggy. Red Robin should have complete control over quality. This is a total fail. The lie and lack of responsibility seals my intent to not spend money there.
We were seated in a booth near the kitchen. The tile floor was incredibly slippery. There was something along the wall that had been destroyed. I'm not sure if it was a tabletop or some peice of wall decor that had been peeled away. The kitchen didn't have a mirror so the servers would yell corner as they came around a corner to deflect any collisions. Our burgers were good, a little overcooked but good. The pretzel bites and cheese dip were great. Our waiter was great and attentive.
My husband and I stopped in for a casual early dinner. It was so dark at our table that I had to use the flashlight on my phone in order to read the menu. After we were given the check we tried to use the stupid little kiosk thing to pay our bill, which was outrageous, but it didn't allow us to use the gift card we had so the server had to take it to the cash register, which was actually fine with me because I hate those table kiosks anyway. The final irritation was the fact that the bill confirmed their prices were out of line. I had a basic cheeseburger and my husband did as well. We didn't have anything to drink, except water, and the bill came to an even $30. That's for 2 cheeseburgers! No drinks. Too much for me. Not going back.
Never disappointed!! Never! Ask for campfire sauce for your fries. Yummy yummy. Get the rewards program, you will use them more than you think. Many airports have red robin , look for them. Always safe! Whiskey river bbq burger is our go-to. But they're so many choices! I haven't tried the new pizza... there's always next time.
Ate here last Sunday evening, by Monday night all 3 of us were vomiting multiple times and I still have severe GI upset. Not COVID -- we all took a test. Glasses were not clean and one of them had something weird floating in it. Ziosk mischarged somebody else's card for our meal, kind of nervous to pay with my card on them now. Food still tastes okay but obviously there are cleanliness issues that need to be addressed.
Can't say enough good things about Red Robin. We don't go there alot but when ever we do it's always been a great choice to dine here. Got in quick staff amazing and professional. The flavor of the food just bounces around in your mouth and blows you away at a taste experience. I highly recommend enjoying your dining experience here. In my opinion it's a great place to treat your tastebuds and enjoy a meal with your family
Excellent food and friendly service!
