Friendly guy who explained us the menu as it was our first time trying Hawaiian barbacue. The portions sizes are generous and the food delicious.We got the chicken and seafood bowl. The chicken bbq was excellent and the fried fish and shrimp was very well done too. We enjoyed our lunch here immensely!They are fast and it's a nice place for a quick but wholesome bite.
Great delicious Chicken katsu and Hawaiian beef. Quick service on a Friday lunch. The teriyaki and katsu sauce tasted homemade and was amazing. Will have to come here again before I head back to Houston.

Everything was great until they started being stingy with their sauces. I don't know another store that offers Katsu sauce this authentic, a huge reason I crave coming back! They first made the cup sizes smaller, and then limit you at 2 regardless of your size of meal. (Mini, reg, and bowl, all the same amount of sauce) Depending on the meal, one of those cups barely covers all of the rice imo.. maybe I'm just a sauce fiend. Would like to see either bigger cups again or at LEAST one more sauce for a bigger meal. Heck 2 is hardly enough for a chicken rice bowl. I always want more by the end of the bowl..

I bought two plates from this restaurant, which I was excited because I heard they have great food. However, I got home and split the plates with my daughter. She found a hair in the food. I immediately called the restaurant and spoke with an employee. She said I need to bring the food back. I explained to hear that we were in the middle of eating it. She said since we don’t have all the food there is nothing they can do. I then asked to speak to the manager and she said he was too busy to talk to me and instead told the girl to tell me it’s against their policy. I asked what the policy is and she said “ sorry, I don’t know” I asked her to ask the manager and she said “ he is too busy”At this point I’m think this is not right and nasty. I don’t mind buying another plate but not sure if I would get another hair in my food. Makes me think how dirty it is behind the counter where they cook the food. It’s clear they don’t care about the already paid customers. Their only concern is helping the customer that are at the restaurant and moving to the next. I definitely don’t recommend this ungrateful restaurant.
Fantastic food. Be a little patient because it takes 5-10 minutes for them to make it. Plenty of food and nothing was bad! Will go again!
This was my first time eating at a Niu BBQ Restaurant. The employees were friendly and helpful. The portions are large and the flavorings on the meats amazing. The sticky rice is perfect.Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
